[x] based
[x] redpilled

:x

I'm more used to :wq and such but I guess ZZ is slightly faster.

:x
Two keys to press, no need to hold shift like when pressing ZZ
ZQ when i don't want to save

What if I start vim up in a directory I can't write files to, how to I have it somewhere else without exiting and losing my work (without copy pasting)?

:sav some/other/path

thanks

This. I use it so much I even forget I can exit in other ways.

You forgot , :x is three keys, plus you have to press and release shift quickly which is arguably more awkward.

I don't understand this meme
Is it really hard to remember :q and :q!
