C

Not Java. Something simple, like C. Or C++.

~Rust~

PHP

Javas standard lib is pretty neat.

>C++
>simple

I use Javascript the most, I like it the best because I'm most comfortable with it. If I had equal time in a lot of programming languages, I think I'd prefer golang.

Well, if it is if you keep it simple and don't overengineer it like all of those Javaists do.
I only mentioned it because tons of libraries come in C++, which is neat.

C#
Don't bully me, please.

C#

Microsoft have really turned their shit around and started churning out good shit these last few years.

dear god, definitely not java

I like Perl. I know, a lot of you are put off by the $s and @s. But once you see them as merely a dereferencing symbol, it's not that bad. It comes with thousands of libraries, and the speed at which you can process data is comparable to C applications. Then there's the fact that hash arrays (maps) are built into the language. Once you've used those, you never want to do without them.

f#

Common Lisp, duh.

JavaScript

Useless front end faggot. Do you even understand algorithmic complexity? Try not to crash the end user this time. baka

>Do you even understand algorithmic complexity?
Y-Yes

lisp

>Do you even understand algorithmic complexity?
On my last job, we had to tweak Cesium. It's a 3D geomodelling software that has I think a little over 140,000 lines of JavaScript code.
What a fucking nightmare.

Java

python because i am gay
