didn't know adobe was based af

Imagine using danone software

lol seething poorfags

same fucks that have been paid by ms for decades so they never release their (working) linux port
what did you expect?

>pay subscription for using adobe products
>adobe says you must upgrade to these two versions or they will sue you.

>I've paid for these products
>subscription
Tell these idiots how subscription works. Adobe isn't wrong here.

I'm sure most of these people didn't start with a subscription but desktop software. They just were pushed into a subscription.

Companies that make their product costlier and worse and reduce the lifespan on the customer's end are shitty companies, regardless if they do it in 100 pages of legalese or in your face or both.

Sure, a lot of people realized that Adobe was full of shit right when they introduced subscriptions while claiming it wouldn't make things worse (plus various specific promises like that there would continue to be a Lightroom perpetual subscription offered in parallel, didn't even last two years until they changed that IIRC). But still I can't 100% blame people who believed them.

Imagine needing photoshop for pic related

People honestly use shit like that?

..and that, kids, is why you pirate stuff like that.

>be poorfag
>pirate Photoshop
>never hear anything from Adobe
>be professional
>buy Photoshop
>get told you're no longer allowed to use the stable version of their program and you have to upgrade to the shitty one
>despite paying them $50 a month

>people didn't start with a subscription but desktop software. They just were pushed into a subscription.

They could just use their existing copies indefinitely.

They insisted on having the latest versions....and now insist on using outdated versions.
These people are retarded.

or maybe you don't understand that they need new codecs and format support, that they can save A LOT of time when new workflows are introduced, that companies want to have an active contract so they have someone to blame/sue if things go wrong

I'm not necessarily against the subscription model.
But these people don't seem to know what they want.
Probably just REEE because they are too retarded to know how to upgrade, not because they don't want to.

Pirate the old version.

That's a different problem. Not everything is back/forward compatible. You have a big project made with multiple programs from the suite and converting might no be feasible. How many years is acceptable for that kind of support? I don't know. Fuck adobe.

Come home.

Never heard of any backwards compatibility issues with Adobe CC.
Sounds like FUD.
