KYS redditnigger

When Meltdown and Spectre was discovered, we were certain that more speculative bugs would be found, it's fucking hilarious to see all these people acting smug, who really don't know anything.

But yeah, my 4770k will definitely be upgrade to 3700X (3800X or even 3850X depending on price)

i'd be pozzed if i just spend 1k on a 9900k setup

>thinly veiled AMD pr stunt
yikes, still im going to upgrade my laptop with INTEL cpu

its the goy system if your are a goy the computer detect it and it slow %50 and crashes eevery time i prove it using a kike computer is was a like a computer from the future it works fast

hahaha upvotedd!!!!!

Also go back to Jow Forums*eddit and never come back

i make that in my mine machine, i download the tora, porn stuff, stanic shiet, talmud, jewish books ,subverting strategies, subscribe to forums where goys are mocked etc and it works like a beast

Haha reddit

AMD shills so worried about security and not one instance of a security breach has ever been recorded with the vulnerabilities intel has. AMD shills are literally pedophiles to scared to buy a faster chip because they have tb's of child porn they don't want to part with.

this is bad, because the attacks on amd cpu's are not being shown to the public.

never have i thought one could be as retarded as individual behind but oh boy my expectations have been surpassed far beyond...

I can't handle this cope, I'll stay unpatched and comfy for a long time.

Found the pedo

Read up on Zombie load and why that won't be a good idea.

If i start hearing about attacks out in the wild "which there has never been one", I'll patch it. Otherwise, I'm not a CP horder and mainly game on this rig so i'll take my chances

No user INTEL is the israeli company not amd.

I don't understand.
Why can't Intel design a fucking secure CPU?

Remember the meltdown spectre thing where Intel shills all over the internet roped AMD into it even though it wasn't affected except for one irrelevant outdated mobile CPU? The amount of organized misinformation surrounding it was impressive and outed a lot of shills.

One of the researchers who discovered ZombieLoad, Daniel Gruss, told TechCrunch that ZombieLoad is easier to exploit than Spectre, but more difficult than Meltdown, and that it requires a specific set of skills, which means the average person doesn't need to worry. There hasn't been an attack ever recorded with spectre/meltdown/zombieload.

Literally because they rely on those security holes for better performance, patch those up and it slows down to a crawl.

So Ryzen CPU's are a crawl? kek

Now imagine buying Ryzen, motherboards manufacturers are not in contact with AMD, so they just design it like they feel like it. You buy a new PC, RAM sticks won't work, it requires BIOS update, can't do one without RAM, every shop is out of like 4 models that work OOTB.

I actually knew person that sold his old PC beforehand and had to use some hand-me-down laptop for 2 weeks before they got it in stock.

Thank you Kind stranger!

Are you pretending to be a shill or are you just naturally retarded? I said INTEL relies on security holes to push their shit architecture, not AMD.

>Literally because they rely on those security holes for better performance
Citation fucking needed.
>patch those up and it slows down to a crawl
You mean that microcode patches have significant impact on performance? Shocking!

medium.com/@sirajea/massive-security-flow-on-cpu-level-meltdown-spectre-48236b875ac1
>All CPU manufacturers like Intel, AMD, ARM are affected by this problem but Intel is more affected because for them it is affected on hardware level where as for rest of them are affected on software level.

>For AMD you have to have physical access to exploit vulnerability but for Intel, this memory leak bug is so critical. You don’t need physical access.

Literally says nothing about Intel doing it to achieve better performance. Maybe it's time to stop posting my dear drone.

I thought you were replying to another post.
As for performance, they literally rely on the security holes since patching them up slows down the processors, whether they knew about the vulnerabilities or not is irrelevant and shows that they don't care about security either way.

>they literally rely on the security holes since patching them up slows down the processors
Are you stupid? I already told you that literally every patch at microcode level would cause major performance issue. Look at any GPU released by AMD you idiot. The hardware is better than NVidia by a large margin, but the retarded design causes software overhead that makes them much worse in real world usage.

Nothing of what you said debunks anything I said, if they pushed performance with inherently flawed features while disregarding security then they relied on security holes for performance, intentional or not.

They're called speed holes.

>if they pushed performance with inherently flawed features while disregarding security
You said they did, now you claim that it doesn't matter if they did, what matters is that there is a bug.

Great logic. I guess with that logic you can also rationalize why you father left you and your mother.

What you are saying comes down to:
>it's not true but it could have been therefore I'm right!

prepare to become the botnet

>You said they did, now you claim that it doesn't matter if they did
What are you even talking about? They did push features with inherent security flaws that need performance-killing patches and I didn't imply otherwise.

I didn't change my point at all and just repeated it over and over since you have terrible reading comprehension, seems like you didn't understand it at all yet again.

EDIT? Moar liek, REDDIT, amirite?? XD XD XD XD :DDDDDD

strange, i don't recall any performance loss to non-server scenarios for any of the recent major security issues

>I didn't change my point at all
>Literally because they rely on those security holes for better performance
>if they pushed performance with inherently flawed features
The first one is a claim. The second one is questioning. I said there is no proof to the claim and nobody other than AMDrones are claiming that that bug exists because of some performance loophole.
You claim the bug exists because they wanted to improve the performance without regards to security. You prove you claim, otherwise you are talking out of your ass.

>The second one is questioning
It isn't, learn to english.

>I said there is no proof to the claim
Meltdown security patches drastically lowered performance, yes, this is recorded fact.

>You claim the bug exists because they wanted to improve the performance without regards to security
It's what happened, or else it wouldn't have the vulnerability to begin with, you are trying to argue against facts.

>You prove you claim, otherwise you are talking out of your ass.
Simply look at the drastic performance hit after the patches.
epicgames.com/fortnite/forums/news/announcements/132642-epic-services-stability-update

meltdown didn't reduce performance for consumers and i dont know why you'd be running a server

You are retarded.

Would you mind proving that the security issue exists because they wanted to increase performance rather than "proving" that performance tanks when you apply massive amounts of code to change behaviour of hardware? Thanks in advance.

>Would you mind proving that the security issue exists because they wanted to increase performance
see If they didn't want to increase performance while disregarding security the flaw wouldn't exist, it's a very simple conclusion, it's like someone making a car with an underpowered engine but with a nitro boost that has the chance of exploding, you would call that a disregard of security for the sake of performance.

You claim something. You refuse to back up you claim. You say whatever I claim doesn't disregard the possibility of something happening that you didn't even try to prove yet.

Might as well claim that Meltdown happened because of global warming then. I mean they are happening at the same time, so it's a fair conclusion!

I'm done here. For the future generations, this is how AMDrones think.

Any day now......kek

>You claim something. You refuse to back up you claim
See , it's fact, why are you still trying to deny it?

>Might as well claim that Meltdown happened because of global warming then
How does that make even the least bit of sense? Would you say that it was a coincidence that a car with an explodeable nitro boost happened to explode? Is it a coincidence that Intel's features only have a significant performance gain when leaving security holes unpatched? You are reaching so far here it's hard to believe you aren't being paid to do so.
