It's not even a meme anymore at this point. I have a 6600K paired with an RX 570 and despite my GPU being fairly weak all I want is a fucking processor upgrade. I'm constantly maxed out on CPU usage. Can't even play some comfy Dota Chess with a stream running on my second monitor without it freezing (the stream that is).

Been using 6 cores 12 threads for nearly a decade now. I recently had to drop my overclock because of stability issues and figured now's a good time to upgrade to Ryzen once the 3000 series comes out

I have 1700 ryzen
it's great, no lags or stutters when I play gaymes and open multiple programs on other screen
my ultimate plan is:
16 core CPU (upcoming zen 2)
16 GB of RAM memory (already done)
16 GB vRAM memory (will get radeon vii soon)
