because i'm waiting for rgb hdd's

Jesus fucking christ

Can you get aftermarket heatsinks like this? My build is severely lacking in RGB but I already have an M.2 drive that I'm fine with.

The only thing glowing in my case is a red LED on my mainboard whose purpose I still haven't grasped four years later. Not sure whether it means everything's alright or something's not alright, but everything works so I just ignore it.

no idea dude, i think it's electric stuff going around the board in cycles
everytime it hits the led = end of cycle or something like that

Because LEDs actually generate enough heat to thermally throttle SSDs if not properly cooled. I'll trick out everything else but I find it best to stay away from adding lights to SSDs.

It's probably just a board power indicator, painted red because red lights are gayming lights.

This unironically, jaztwocents has a video about that exact shit weaboos

Because im not a faggot

Because I'm not a fucking degenerate?

Who the hell is Klevv?

Jay actually test RGB ssd's and they overheated and failed when they reached over 60c. They are literally fucking trash.

>Electric stuff
You mean electrons, or electricity? Kek

nonono my new friend
electric stuff, what is an even electron?

Reminder that these RGB SSDs overheat and run like dogshit.

More like everything with RGB is dogshit

Clear cover and put leds on the platters, then they can do customizable persistence of vision displays

Say what you want about your personal opinions on the tackiness of RGB lighting, but most RGB peripherals don't impact system performance. At least, not to such a ridiculously noticeable degree that the Kingston RGB SSD has.

Is it available in non-gay colors, for example red white and black?

RGB can be set to any color you like, including black, white or red.

>what is an even electron?
An effective way to make any application, no matter how simple, use 8 GB RAM.

>colors look like the actual IR heatmap when idle
kek

user, that clearly says its speed up by 15x, so you have to divide 135 by 15, so its only 9 degrees in real time.

RGB is the worst thing to ever happen to computers

looks like some lgbt bullshit agenda
