anything above 75hz is placebo

the human eye cant detect anything over 30fps though

Anything above 120Hz is placebo... unless you're using strobing. In which case you'll need much higher Hz to get a natural feel.

>yeah bro I never used anything higher but trust me bro

COPE

Anything above 24 hz is placebo.

it's like literally taking your eyes waterboarding

because hz ≠ fps, you can actually get really high fps if you lower your monitors hz, I tested this and had my dad verify its faster

It's fun for games but pig disgusting for movies and especially drawn animation.

yall should use 240hz. i want to go beyond though, i cant wait for 1000hz displays, since that fixes a lot of issues with mouse tracking as well

but gamertards will for the any marketing bullshit

we all know that the human eye doesn't see a difference between 144 fps and 24fps, let's stop the charade people

Anything exceeding 44.1kHz is superficial and homosexual

the universe is literally running at 24fps thus any fps higher than that is placebo

Your vision is a stream, not a set of frames, your vision can't be said to have a proper "framerate"

Going back to 60 from 144 is really jarring desu, scrolling feels so laggy on my second monitor

i have 240hz. its perfect for all common video formats, unlike 165hz and 144hz

except when you need glasses and you just hadn't noticed until upgrading from your old 60hz monitor. it literally makes you go blind.

even runnning my monitor at 75hz with a lower resolution and then dropping it to 60hz 1080p feels like shit

I have a 450hz and it's perfect for all video, 3D and even gaming. Unlike 240hz the 450hz is the most partrician tier taste.

SCARED.

lmao this guy

There's a difference between detecting and having an effect. Try looking into a light source with 30 Hz flicker for a few hours.

is there even such a thing? i know of 480hz research monitors

Wait a minute, you guys are lying on purpose.

As someone with an 144hz screen, I usually stop noticing the difference above 100hz.
