Original SP yes. 101 and DS Lite have horrible motion blur. DSi fixes this but no GBA slot.

Extremely mild motion blur, actually. Look at the original DMG Game Boy and Pocket if you want horrible motion blur. And in either case the proper backlighting of the 101 and Lite is a bigger benefit than the blur is a problem.

I have an SP and miss my old GBA, it's just way more comfortable. I gotta frontlight/recharge mod an old GBA one of these days. Interestingly enough the newer front lights are more energy efficient than the original non front lit screens.

actually it does, if you hack the console you can enable the higher clocks. certain games (okamiden, trackmania, metroid prime hunters) benefit a lot from it. easier to do on the 3ds though.

The SP was backlit, that was one of it's main selling points. The main GBA line never got a backlight. If there was a regular GBA with a backlight I'd probably stop playing the games on my vita.

I've got an SP and I loved it with the lit screen and the rechargeable battery.

Recently I've emulated GBA games on my PSP - most games run at 100% speed, or in fact faster with turbo mode enabled. The only game I've found so far that has a bit of slowdown is Tony Hawk 2, probably because it's a 3D game so it's more taxing.

Emulating the games on the PSP means I can play on a larger screen, can save states if I need to, and can swap battery saves onto my computer easily.
