Please don't fall for the whole autismo with regards to mech keyboard. I'm currently typing on an old IBM membrane keyboard with no mech pedigree whatsoever, and it feels fantastic. The only "extra" thing it has is a PS/2 cable, that's it.
Programming doesn't give a damn on your keyboard, OS, drink, etc.
