no idea how to buy stock

you should see nvidia and stop using xp ffs

i only should have listened....

>tfw was thinking about buying amd stock for like $2 each
>pc decided to die on me and had to buy a new one instead
It still hurts.

I bought about 30 @ $10 each, it was my first time buying stocks. Wondering when I should pull out, maybe just after Zen2? Or should I just hold long term? the money doesn't mean much to me at the moment, but it's nice

I bought 100 shares at like $3 because "lol what's the worst that could happen?"
I wish I had bought thousands of shares of AMD instead of the other crap I bought.
Same for NVidia. I bought at $40 and sold at $200, but I only had a few shares.

Usually what I do is sell enough to cover cost and let the "free" shares ride. I got 2500 at around 2.00 and cut loose 500 at around 10. Riding my free 2000 shares to 35-40 probably.

Open an account with a broker.
Deposit some money.
Buy a stock. Some charge fees per trade - it's usually around $5 to $8.

Remember: only invest money you are willing to lose in case shit goes south.
Don't dump all of your savings into your investments.

Ok, I was too big of a pussy to make a bigger bet, but I bought 20k call options for AMD to hit 10$ back when it was $1.80 a share and made a quick hundred grand, now 250k.

They make money off of subscription fees for premium accounts, interest earned off of your deposits into them, and rebates.

robinhood sells your orders to hft firms

>AMD will not be allowed to fail
AMD has failed that Intel became a monopoly.

Now that AMD has risen Intel will ensure that they end up like Cyrix, to ensure that they never rise again.

Same thing with Nvidia.
