>best active noise canceling >great sound >30 to 38 hour battery life wireless >can also use them wired if you want okay great >the microphone used for calls is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE literally unusable it was almost perfect and I almost ordered it, but now I fucking won't because the mic is literally unusable
Is there an alternative with a great mic for voip?
I had had a few cheaper noise-cancelling headphones before, and thought it was kind of a gimmick. Then I got my hands on these, and they are amazing. Great for longer journeys. Who cares about the mic.
>Who cares about the mic. I use voip a lot, so I want something to replace my traditional headset

Wait for the Bose QC45 OP.
If they end up being shit, buy the M3's.
Atleast that's what I'm gonna do,

I bought a pair and they were awesome except they would cut out constantly when paired to my laptop. I tried every software solution under the sun and just gave up and used them wired. then one day I was doing some routine cleaning of my laptop and saw the Bluetooth antenna was unplugged. now they work perfectly.
I'm an idiot.

I never see any cutoff on mine when connected to laptop, to my phone once in a while there will be a split second hitch but nothing major, maybe the headset you got is faulty?

>works yes but the microphone sounds like SHIT

I tried both for weeks and went back to QC35 II because it's more comfy for prolonged use.
I'll give Sony the thumbs up for sound quality, better ANC and more features.

But it doesnt. I use them at work in a factory without any complaints. That guy probably got paid to make them seem bad.
