My x220 (arch) is currently charged to 115.89% and climbing. Before it would only charge up to ~85%. I'm not sure what happened, since I shut my laptop off and went on a two day trip, and now that I'm back the calibration seems to be really wonky.

I recently picked up a used T410S with i5 ivybridge, 8GB RAM and SSD for $50. 1600x900 display. Despite being the "thin" (S) edition of the 410 it's still twice as thick as a Macbook Air. Not terribly heavy and the carbon fibre is nice though. Have no use for the thing but I guess for $50 it's good for a backup. And a machine I can toss the new W10 May update on to play around with.

i got a t420 with a 120gb ssd and 8gbs ram fully working with a crack on the corner for $110 shipped. with manjaro i3wm this thing is awesome.

I can replace the screen myself easily, I just dont know if HP has that whitelist system that Lenovo used on the T430 for instance, and I like having the socketed CPU for the option of upgrading in the future. I'll take a look at those models, thanks

why do you even give a fuck about the key? Just install an iso and during the installation there should be a way to tell it you will enter the key later. Then use dazloader or mstoolkit or whatever the fuck you're supposed to use for windows 7 to activate.

I fucked up TPG I bought a lot of thinkpads one (the only good one imo) was a t430. I baked it in the oven and it started booting. Happy times. Now however, Whenever I try to buy something for the screen I fuck up. Fuck up big time. I bought a 1080p screen and it was the wrong connection. so i buy an adapter and that doesnt work either. Something about needing a EDP adapter. FML big time. Now im stuck on my t420 which is fine except it doesnt have a graphics card for muh games. I dont have any more money and am not sure any of it was worth the investment and am ready to bin all the thinkpads.
