Yes
Finally there is one

Now we Photoshop alternative.

no blender is

It has KDE in its name, so yes.

Davinci Resolve and Blender are better.

Try GIMP if your brains are capable of learning a different user interface, it can do pretty much everything

More like the only
Openshot: buggy as hell (tried it 1 year ago).
Blender: only use if you like hurting yourself (very nice, but complicated since it is more 3d animation software than video editing, but if you learn it you can pretty much do everything with it)
DaVinci Resolve: very nice, but not FOSS software.
Natron: more for image/video compositing.

GIMP
GNU Image Manipulation Software
No videos.

>videos aren't images

Are you saying you create your videos with Photoshop?

What about flowblade?

Yes. They still need a Qt maskot like krita.

Sure, if it wouldn't crash every five minutes

Yes, probably one of the best video editors I've ever used for my consumer usage too, it's a good job it is too since all other Linux video editors are shit

No, it is Blender.

Where does the name come from?

Only if you like a buggy mess that works half the time.

I use it daily, but I still find UI stupid. Maybe one day KDE project will make something great, like Krita, but for editing photos.

Or maybe you're just using some Ubuntu derivative.

KDE Non-Linear Video Editor

Blender has an extremely capable UI, try that.

Didn't know DaVinci Resolve was open source
