All I want is a fucking gaming benchmark from the 12c 5gz chip.

delete this thread you fucking goy

this thread is antisemitic and you need to delet it right now or I will call the Mossad

OH NONONONONO INTELBROS

Are you retarded? It will not be faster than a 9900k in gayming, the inter core communication latencies will always hold it back. If you want the #1 gayming cpu just get the 9900k. But if you are looking for the allround cpu King that's going to be a zen2 chip no doubt about it.

Just having a quick look, 7960X is a 1775€ cpu over here. And 4.8Niggahertz is pretty hard to get.
Vs something that will most likely be fine with its shit aircooler.
And zen2 will also have PCIE 4.0 so no such thing as muh lanes complaints.

Remember people, AMD having a major win is great for everybody. It will force Intel to invest billions in a new core architecture.

When Intel is coming out with 36 Core, 6GHz Turbo CPUs for under 1000$, you can thank AMD.

I don't necessarily want the #1 gayming cpu, just something that's a few percent under 9900k.

See you in 2025.

twitter.com/kokolordas/status/1131216238422761479
6% hit on muh gaymes
but.. but... you can always turn off the mitigations, right? RIGHT?
security doesn't matter after all!

you'll get your 5GHz beast but if you're not making money off of your gayman, grow the fuck up and do something productive with your life.

stop wasting precious time.

FUCK LEAKS I CANT WAIT FOR COMPUTEX

IT CAN'T BE
GOYIM, DISABLE THE RETPOLINE PATCH RIGHT NOW

>2048
Fixed your mistake, brah.

The entire planet would benefit if Intel goes under.

Just for the sake of argument, 7960X scores a laughable 3180 points at stock speeds.

>7960X is a 1775€ CPoo

Attached: 1543201660279.png (631x310, 14K)

Imagine actually living your life forcing yourself to do things society has arbitrarily deemed "productive" for you, instead of simply doing things you find enjoyable.

Intel bros, I hate to do this, but...

Attached: 1558440812178.jpg (1686x600, 185K)

Seems too optimistic. The actual boost clocks could possibly be misreported. Just wait 5 more days for the real deal.

This place is going to be a fucking war zone 5 days from now

too bad AMD overheats

lmao.

The i9-9900K commits fratricide on a daily basis with it's oven operating temperatures

nah chief think u meant
>2148

I've been using Intel my whole life. I'm not gonna switch to AMD no matter what. Intel produces truly premium products.

You seem...rustled.

>inb4 Zen 2 has good multicore performance but shit single core performance (the thing that actually matters for 99% of applications)

Attached: 1557268598541.jpg (1327x1222, 331K)

Premium price, premium vulnerabilities, premium performance loss.

Amen, here's to 5 more years of quality 14nm!

Attached: 1440306790198.jpg (1444x1324, 280K)

That's not very likely, son.

>in 2012

1. That 16 core Zen 2 was ran at stock.

2. See .

Intoddlers.

NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOO
THIS CANT BE HAPPENING

Is this the 21st century holocaust?

>~15% jump in IPC over skylake
Holy fuck, intel better be hauling ass on those stock 5.4GHz 14nm+++++++++++++ processors. AMD is here to fucking bury them alive.

Attached: 14594906848382.gif (400x309, 497K)

How is it there, in 2014?

So I did some quick math, and if this shit clocks to 5 ghz single core, you're looking at 30% more perf on single core shit vs 2700x.
Can't wait for next monday for the next holocaust.

>the thing that actually matters for 99% of applications)
name one program that relies mostly on a single thread

Attached: It'sOver.png (1296x900, 371K)

Everything that was ever written in JS and other non-compiled languages.

Shit gaymes. And I play a lot of them, so I'm in for moar single core performance.

The Windows Update service will do most of it's work via a single thread. It's the reason why sometimes it takes hours to update Windows 7/8/8.1.

so basicly only minecraft cause nothing else is more popular

plus unless you are living in 2008 when html 5 web workers came multithreading in js was a normal thing

It's more realistic we'll get 4.4-4.6 GHz max turbos. AMD is looking to cut up intel in the value department, 5GHz clocks would mean lower yields and higher prices (intel's current strategy). It's more realistic AMD would sell a 12 core processor with the same or a little bit better single core performance as an i9-9900K but only have a true 125W TDP. and about 40% higher multicore performance.

Not an intel shill btw, I own an i7-7700K and after disabling hyperthreading I'm really not looking forward to what intel has to offer.

Attached: 987F52713C4C4DE6936B47A5C30D223D.jpg (640x641, 50K)

Dude, most professional stuff is just a single threaded Java blob running on a VM.
Then they run multiple VMs on a machine to leverage moar cores.
Programming for Multi core is absolute hell.

Old games, a lot of indie barely have any multi-thread implementation, Paradox Interactive games

Well, you know, the 3700X would do 5ghz but be pricier than the 3700. That's exactly what they did with the last 2 generations.

i wont even begin to tell you just how wrong you are user

JS multithreading won't do shit if every single thread is slow as fuck. Granted, it became very good albeit memory hungry, but Python for example never improved in that regard, and probably never will due to GIL.

>if this shit clocks to 5GHz single core
AMD is not Jewtel. If it OverClocks, it OverClocks on ALL cores.

>Citing scottish street shitting fraud

was tech journalism always this terrible?

Attached: marshall-applewhite-false-christ-sign.jpg (1536x1024, 451K)

Well, that's what I do.
And there's no hint of it changing anytime soon.
All my buddies tell me the exact same thing.

Well, no. They have power limits to consider. Especially with a 16 cores part.

>PSSSSSFFFSCCHHHTTT
Like a clock.

>scottish street shitting fraud
calm down shlomo

Attached: tomsintelmerchant.png (500x500, 70K)

Keep seething, Tim.

>Well, no
Yes, indeed. They don't just OC on up-to-first-to-cores-while-heavily-downclocking-everything-else-to-shit, like Inturd does to "win in benchmarks".

AMD is not Intel.

>5GHz clocks would mean lower yields and higher prices
...you don't know, huh? Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

Guyz, I'm saying it's normal a 16 cores part will run low all core boost to manage power.
I wouldn't surprised if this shit actualy breaks 5Ghz on 1 or 2 cores.

THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING

Attached: 1458597381222.jpg (300x300, 21K)

>AMD has cute waifus
>Intel has ugly jews
Thank you based AMD

>Guyz, I'm saying it's normal a 16 cores part will run low all core boost to manage power
Y...you've never ever used a GLORIOUS Zen product ever before in the entirety of your miserable Intbecillic existence, eh?

I don't need 16 cores @ 5 Ghz
I'd be more than happy with just a quarter of them boosting to 5 Niggahertz

You're assuming TSMC's 7nm will behave the same as GloFo's 12nm.
Ok.

That's probably realistic, considering how power hungry a 16 Core, 5GHz all-core boost would be.

Pretty sure that's what everyone is hoping for an its just incel shills going REEEE 5ghz on all cores is never happening

Why are """""""investors""""""" so fucking retarded?

Attached: 0cgvmK5.png (723x285, 33K)

No, I'm not. It's actually WAAAY better.

The same reason bitcoin traders have the suicide hotline number memorized.

From 3100 to 3900X, where will this "16 core zen 2 @ 4.2" fall?

god i need it

It's a higher end of high tier, but not very top. There won't be 39xx, THREADRIPPER Mark III (officially called THIRDRIPPER inside AMD) is for that.

R9 3800X @ $529 would be my guess

we need to rise up. Convince Lisa to ship them with the top tier Zen 2 chips. I'd buy one just for it.

>we need to rise up

3600X.
3800+ will match 9980XE for less than 1000 dollars.

THE COMPETITION CAN`T COMPETE.

2cute

for you

anybody that works with CS on a vm enviroment (aka practicly everybody) has no option but to use anything multithreaded as they can

this is a common knowledge especially know that HT will be disabled
