1920 pixels wide
1080 pixels hi

how close in your face do you wanna have it?

22"
1080P
27"
1440P
32"
2160P

I have a 27" 1440p and 24" 1080p and I feel like the 24" is slightly too large for 1080p

So anything from 20-23" honestly

24 starts looking pixelated already, 22 is the best

24" or smaller

Retina 5K at 27”

1080p? 4"
1440p? 6"
4K? 8" mini tablet
8K? 10.1" tablet

about this close

1920x1080

>1080p? 4"
>1440p? 6"
Why would you want a smaller screen for a higher resolution?

you need to mention the screen size and the viewing distance

25"
posted from my 4k 24" monitor

1440p is more than 1080p and 6" is more than 4"

I'd take a nice 22" or 24" for 1080P, not smaller or bigger.

29" 21:9

FPBP
23" gives you 96 PPI, which has been the default resolution in Windows going all the way back to Windows 95. If you are running a newer operating system with decent resolution scaling you should be shooting for higher than 1920x1080 anyway. So 23" is the perfect size.
The only way you could improve on a 96 PPI 1920x1080 monitor is with a 96 PPI 1920x1200 monitor for a little more real estate and running old games that only support a few resolutions like 1280x1024 and 1600x1200.

Or a 96 PPI 4K monitor.

23

Better question, is there any way to deal with mixing resolutions/sizes on these days that keeps interfaces and text for sucking shit?

I wanted a 21.5" but all i found was TN gaymer trash, got a nice Ultrasharp 14" IPS instead.

i have 17.3 fhd laptop. i can see pixels from reasonable distance.

Or you could go ultrawide with a 29" 1080p monitor and get some extra screen space while keeping that 96 ppi

This made me laugh, am I a boomer?

6 inches. 1080p is the resolution of a budget phone.

...

>Or you could go ultrawide
Ultrawide can't rotate for fapping to anime girls. Sure you could put it on the big screen, but you haven't lived until you've rotated your monitor 30 to 60 degrees to correct for a dutch angle.

>1080p is the resolution of a budget phone
Phones are viewed at a closer distance than computer monitors.

Just get a monitor arm so you can rotate it and see even more of that pixelated pussy at once

22 - 24.

This unironically
For 6in we already have 1440p. Thank you based SAMSUNG
