you guys really fell for the name change, huh? the funny thing is under the hood the system still refers to itself as osx. all of the compiler pragmas are osx. all the darwin internals refer to osx. the only place where it became macos was on the packaging to trick consumers into believing they were getting something new. you might not remember but it was once macosx before it was osx. now it's just macos. it's always been the same exact os, it just changes names when stock prices dip.
