What to learn from IT?

I have 1 year worth of time to learn to code or do something IT related.
I have 0 experience with the field.
What to learn to do, it could be even some narrow set of skills for specific tasks.
My goals is to earn 1000$ per month doing it.

250$ a week? That is your goal? Mate two fucking days a week at fucking McDonalds would basically net you this

>1k a month

Damn. High standards.

not op but 1k a month is a good salary here if you don't have family

Fucking where? Op typed USD dollar sign mind you

Where the fuck do you live where $1k a month is considered a goal?

He typed it after the sum so he clearly isn't American so you can conclude he means the equivalent to $1000 in pesos or whatever instead of actual $1000.

1k dollars is a lot in other countries you fucking cucks

Earn a CCNA and go work help desk
It'll get your foot in the door most places then work your way up the Cisco ladder and become a network engineer.
also try and learn CS

It is a lot but you're still leaving like shit, its just less shit than your neighbors.

Eloquent Javascript

1k USD is quite a lot in my country. In fact, it's the average salary of programmers here.

wordpress

anything else is just retarded, simpler tech normies pay more... fucked up shit

can you google and copy paste code you find? you dont need anything else

Can relate. Brazilian here.

Honest advice :
Don't just learn to code.
Give yourself projects to accomplish. It can be some practical projects that help you in your regular tasks, or some more ambitious ones. I literally developed my skills x2983 since I started learning code to achieve a project rather than just to learn the notions.
Maybe start with python, it's a great 1st language for a beginner (can be very very powerful too, and has a huge community that'd be willing to help you)

if you have to then obviously you shouldn't even start. your attitude will hinder you before even starting.

and also interested, you mean like simply installing wordpress and configuring free or paid themes?

you forgot a word in this sentence

1K rupees isn't shit tho...

Tear apart PCs, electronics, etc. Learn what the internal components look like. Research them. Get yourself an A+ training book. Get yourself a Network+ book. These will cover the basics. Ask local computer shops if you can apprentice and learn some stuff. Troubleshooting requires knowledge and lots of hands on experience, the quickest way to do this is an apprenticeship or volunteer work.
>$1000/mo
Bro, I run a small business, freelance I/T. Mostly support services but I also work on data networks, long range wireless backhauls, digital surveillance, electronics repair, and tutoring. Took me many years of experience before I started my own business. I worked as a computer specialist in a variety of businesses, from manufacturing to computer repair shops to school districts.

I/T is a fun field if you have a passion for technology. Good luck OP!

>yfw when he lives in mexico and that actually is a high standard
