what the fuck even is this. I just want to download some music and I'll have to spend literally moths autistically farming ratio from freeleches and seeding shit no one is downloading for the bonus points.
yes if youre interested in niche british tv content

How the fuck is someone supposed to make BP on AvistaZ?
Elijah Wright
25% user release encodes 50% user release/internal remuxes 75% internal encodes
Benjamin Fisher
more like AHD
Colton Watson
25% does not exist. Your post is incorrect.
Camden Hill
75% Freeleech - All Internal Release encodes and their separate audio tracks. When downloading any of these torrents, only 25% of any data downloaded will be counted as your download amount in your total stats
50% Freeleech - All Internal and User Release remuxes. Only 50% of data downloaded will be counted as your download amount in your total stats
25% Freeleech - All User Release encodes. Only 75% of data downloaded will be counted as your download amount in your total stats
didn't ptp tracker go down before the staff pick freeleech ended? does that mean they will extend it beyond 20th?

Brody Hill
anyone can get in. desu I always use soulseek for music since it's better than fucking torrents but the essential mixes are all over the place on SS. I think I'll just deal with that rather than farming up a fucking ratio like it's my second job.
Jeremiah Torres
Post in this thread if you think they should BP system :)
Longterm perma seeding is currently pointless on Redacted. I have 6000 torrents totaling around 2.9TB and none of the torrents barely ever seed. Is it time to add a BP system to reward longterm seeders?
Liam Brown
AHD is a pretty comfy tracker desu senpai, i like the encodes and the no donation policy
Jeremiah Long
Why has my Sinderella account been disabled and can I do something about that? I had a great ratio and some uploads, but wasn't very active recently. Not enough to get banned for not logging in though.
Camden Gray
Unless you went to jail or something you deserve everything you get for letting your account get disabled for inactivity.
Easton Myers
Yes, without BP you get tons of uploads but also tons of dead torrents and a starved economy. It's common sense, but the pathetic losers who have nothing in their life besides their 50TB upload buffer will fight it to the death. Where would we be if people could simply download music they like and archive unpopular content for posterity to make up for it?
Josiah Ross
I wasn't disabled for inactivity, I think. I routinely log into all my trackers to avoid that and it's worked fine for years. It would be an insane coincidence if I suddenly missed only that one tracker. I assume they nuked all whites or something, but I don't know.
Aiden Taylor
the fact that you are seeding 6k torrents right now just proves that the current system is the best for content retention
Cooper Perry
I stopped using redacted altogether, unless you constantly upload and are interest of modern/new music, you just can't be part of the system, it won't work mathematically.
I got 2TB of music for "free" from a user on the site and seeded it for half a year on a 10Gbit seedbox, all I got was maybe 90GB which is nothing if all you download are flacs and 24bit/96khz versions from old recordings.
It also reminds me a lot of pyramid schemes, if you are/where on top you profit, otherwise you have no chance.
Nathan Hughes
Thick as mince.
Ryder Martin
I think so. If you look at the top 250 users by upload, the 250th user only has 1.8TB of upload. So where does that put user #20,000 (someone in the middle of the pack)? I have a mere 50GB of upload (99% of which came during the freeleeches in the first few months of the site's launch with 1% in the last 2 years) and that puts me in the top third of uploaders.
So 2/3rds of users can't even get 50GB of upload. IMO, BP (or similar) just leads to a healthier "ratio economy" because it regularly injects a lot of buffer into the community.
To speculate, I think that this is particularly a problem for red because of how it started. It began with a frenzy of activity as the initial users all brought what's uploads over. As a result, the site was really created by a handful of archivers instead of years of people coming and going, different people doing releases as they happen, etc. I'm not saying that it isn't possible to be a high quality or heavy uploader on red today, just that it seems like the ratio economy is unhealthily skewed. At the same time, this highlights the important of archivers since it was thanks to them that what could be reborn.
Michael Nguyen
Stop fucking reposting reddit threads you retard.
Ayden Jenkins
is there anything interesting in the torrent master forum on redacted?
Carter Ross
Not really. There's a thread complaining about the Elite forum complaining about the PU forum talking too much about drugs, an invite thread that has nothing interesting (read: no HDB/BTN), and a couple stats related and archival threads (like a "Post your single seeded flac torrents for eternal archival" thread and "Which nth ETM are you"
Oliver Jackson
yeah, every shit tracker has this: what power user has about drugs?, retard seedbox users did that since what cd
Christopher Bell
why does AHD not have PU forums
Ayden Gray
You're either in or you're not on AHD. Also, how's everyone going to take it when they finally prune half of their users? The tracker is already pretty small as is.
Gabriel Hill
>when they finally prune half of their users? huh?
Leo Rivera
In their latest announcement they said they haven't been running the inactivity pruning script. They're going to send out an email then disable about half of their users, look at the monthly active. It's pretty pathetic. Most people probably use PTP as their main, but have AHD for some reason.
Landon Reyes

I can tell without even overlaying them and switching back and forth, are you blind? And if you can't tell personally, why do you care? Use some shitty stream, it's no skin off my nose.

devs have it easier to learn that kinda thing to do reverse engineering you gotta know how to do forward engineering

What's the username of the guy who is archiving all on BTN?
Adrian James
I said they have it easier, not that it's completely necessary, even if you only know assembly which he probably learned himself you still need to think like a dev and recognize programming concepts like fucking function calls and know win32 api which is common knowledge for c++/delphi devs to run games without steam you need to code a steam_api emulator, a dll replacement if you will, how the fuck is that not software development? he never did that for his denuvo cracks because he used existing ones from warez groups. I doubt he could code his own in self-taught assembly without "real" coding knowledge
