Depends on your needs
For me it is Xubuntu on my main PC since I like xfce whisker menu, but on my less powerful PC it probably will be Alpine or Void+xfce as I need liteweight distro for 32bit PC with 1GiB of RAM.
For smartphones it will be Android, LineageOS and postmarketOS on LG G4, Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 and Nokia 1 respectively.
Each of these distros is the best for the kind of stuff I want to do with them on given hardware

What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. I like ubuntu and redhat distros, I only really use linux for servers. I feel bad for people who use, linux as a personal os, because it makes you think what kind of fucked up childhood they must of had to willingly use inferior software so they can gain approval of people on the internet.
