It's not genetics, it's the modern western diet that people are told to eat by healthcare professionals. People weren't this fat 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc. years ago, and this isn't enough time for people to spontaneously become morbidly obese due to genetics.

After taking their advice, cutting out the shit they say you need to cut out and eating what they tell you to eat, I went from 257 lbs to 176 lbs. basically eating less sugar, seed oils, refined carbs and replacing that with fatty meats, eggs, cheese, coconut/olive oil etc. Along with fasting, that's what's worked for me.
