Have they rejected your commits? No? Why are you complaining instead of helping, then?

Xfce 4.14 is coming. simon.shimmerproject.org/2019/05/19/xfce-4-14pre1-released/

Tearing shall be fix in the next update (it's coming soon). Xfce has a really long release cycle.

source ? i see nothin about this in the link above

The funny thing about comparing xfce to any other DE is that you don't use a tiling window manager and are thus a babby and a retard who doesn't have a job.

They fixed tearing in 4.13, iwf1.com/review-xfce-4-13-desktop-environment-a-noticeable-difference-from-its-predecessor

>imagine believing it

NOOOOOO!! You don't understand you CAN'T use software that's older than a YEAR!!!!!

Have you installed it and experienced screen tearing?

>huh huh security ? wat is dat im a retard huh huh

There was no new release since 2015. They constantly update the codebase though.

>runs a toyOS made by total randos
>is worried about security

what?

>debian

pick one

>buttons on the screen need security updates
don't forget to download our new update with all the latest telemetry that we want to test.

>imagine being so retard u dont know shit about DE leaks security.stackexchange.com/questions/170596/is-it-possible-to-do-exploit-free-linux-keylogging-with-non-root-client-only-x-w

Xfce 4.12 was released in 2015. That doesn't mean development stopped.

what difference does it make if everyone keeps the 2015 version?

It means Xfce isn't a dead project (which would be the case if nothing was updated since 2015).

i said
>not being updated since 2015
user
thats a fact

>yes it is, updated for the devs

awesome

v

>no new release = not updated
So, by that logic, software without official releases does never get updated?

well, idiot.
first of all, when you talk about security, don't post stack* links. this is not a python fizzbuzz implementation thread.
second, what the idiot on the link describes there, is a feature of X.
...and here we are talking about xfce, not display servers. there's nothing the DE can do to suppress features of the xserver.
...but that would be obvious to you, if you didn't pick the first result google dropped you under your even more retarded search querry.

>gets updates every few months
>already rolled out v4.14 of almost everything
Mint used 4.13 since it was released and I never had tearing
