4G+ is 5G? But yeah that download speed is going to drop drastically once more cell phones are starting to use 5G

I meant that 5G ain't really needed for high speeds

Cricket Wireless, intentionally capped by the provider. I have 150mbps at home, and I work remotely from home. Don't need to upgrade cellular speed imo

enjoy your 5g cancer. I'll enjoy fucking drinking sweat tea, passing kidney stones, and cheering for college football teams, when I barely passed highschool.

Are you in a city or rural?

I've found rural speeds are way higher than city speeds

Pixel 3a XL AT&T LTE

City. I’m paying $40/mo for 80gb.

Honestly what is the point of a fast data connection? I feel like anything that makes use of it is on your home network.

wtf

I'm paying $35 for 30gb only got the plan in January

wtf is this justing

Attached: 1558329406462.png (400x416, 156K)

Because our 4G network in AUS is way better than 95% of home connections.

I'm guessing lots of countries do this as well. Much cheaper than running fiber through neighbourhoods.

really it's just a luxury if you've got fast mobile data connection and unlimited data use on it.

Nice if you want to stream things while out and about, or if you've got your home server setup correctly, access your home PCs, or any files on your local network from anywhere with good speeds.

Certainly not necessary, but if it's available, it's nice to have.

i paying 10 eur/11bucks for 50gb

That is a shortcoming of your infrastructure not a be edit of fast data connections. Besides, you would burn through your data in like a day.
I guess if I lived somewhere where that was a thing it'd be cool. I could stream full 4k Blu ray remuxes. In the mean time maxin g out my 30mbit connection would already use all my data in under 20minutes.
