Got new ones on warranty, they don't have the problem but I can hear a slight squeaky noise from the right side hinge every now and then
So overall disappointed on the build quality but otherwise love em

They are like new, wearing them RN and they feel amazing and comfier than Bose QC 35 II's, also sound is more snappy and crispy. Bass thumps, yet can hear every high. Amazing

I have earlier gen MDR-1000X and I gotta say, these are fucking awesome headphones. Battery life is still stunning even after owning them for ~2 years now. Very comfy, even when wearing them for ~10 hours in a row.

Five things I love about these headphones compared to my previous pair which Delta broke handling my carry on baggage

1. Bluetooth is snappy as fuck and there is no delay unlike my previous headphones which Delta fucking broke in my baggage couple days ago (pic related)
2. Continued with above, these headphones are more bendy and feel way more durable than the steel platform my MDR-XB950s had
3. I got them for basically HALF the price they are new for a like new pair
4. Putting my hand or palm on the outside of the right ear cup lets these headphones use its mic to let me hear outside sound which is useful for ordering food or hearing something around you, after you take your hand off instantly music is back and ANC back on
5. USB-C, I can charge my note 8 AND these with the same cord? Hell yeah reversibility

Oh did I mention sound quality is amazing? Fuck the Bose QC IIs, the M3's shit all over them
