Any C or Suckless experts in here? I applied four patches, but st is not compiling. I applied scrollback, scrollback mouse, alpha, xresources, in that order.

I'm not really asking to be spoonfed, I would just like a push in the right direction or some advice.

this. any feature i need, i make myself

Checked

It doesn't take an expert; you just have to be able to read a little and not retarded

you failed to apply the patch, the TLINE definition is there but not in your code
also C is idiotic language

pls fart in my face

if you apply a patch you're gonna throw off other patches

I don't use st so take anything I say here with a grain of salt.

'TLINE' is likely a macro defined in one of the patches you applied. Make sure when you applied the patches they applied without errors or warnings. It's not uncommon for patches to apply with "fuzz" and cause strange behavior like this. I see hunk #4 warns about fuzz.

To check where 'TLINE' is defined run
grep '#define TLINE' *.{diff,c,h}

Make sure the patch is for the same version of st you have the sources for.
