Nano. It’s easy to configure, accessible. It can be accessed in command line and with a tabbed terminal emulator you can switch from editor to compiler without exiting the file. There’s no extra bullshit and the relevant shortcuts are listed on the bottom of the screen. It’s comfy.

que atrocidad

There are extensions. I don't know how customizable Atom is.

Neovim, Zoomer style

I tried using VS code and I couldn't just write a program in C right off the bat, it was like, unable to know what I was trying to do even with 'hello world'

What is this program even used for?

I only use it for homework

>electron bloat

vim+nerdtree/various completers and linters for C/C++, JS, python etc. basically anything that doesn’t require some bloated IDE to write efficiently
android studio of android
Xcode for iOS

I actually use neovim solely because it changes the block cursor to a line cursor when you go to insert mode and also because after trying it out for a week or so I went to start using vim again but kept typing nvim instead and just gave in, couldn’t be fucked to alias it

Yes, I use Visual Studio Professional for my C++ projects.

You don't do anything related to development

VSCodium. I just wish the icon wasn't so ugly

You mean the blue cumstain?

I guess. You can't see shit in icon size. Why didn't they just recolor the vscode icon or something. That's the only thing they did and it's retarded. Couldn't find a neet on Jow Forums to "I'll work on the logo"?

all those tags in new line
no wonder LOC is the shittest metric for the amount of work done.

Do you guys use gdb multiple windows?
I find about this gem recently

yall need to become enlightened

Are you making this all by yourself

I can't make completers work on neovim to save my life. How did you do it? I'm just typing everything at this point. I'm still learning and making small programs right now, but it still frustrates me to not be able to configure a completer properly.

I just use Notepad and cmd

this was pretty cool, gonna try using fat borders .

Not a single company I've been at uses LOC as metric for work done.

emacs already did so

>tfw use student account to download the newest vs enterprise
can't stop me schlomos

Sublime Text.
I’ve tried switching over to VS Code, vim or even a proper IDE like CLion but I always sooner or later end up crawling back to Sublime Text. I still toy around with vim or VS Code from time to time, but it always ends up the same. It’s just the comfiest experience. Most people don’t even know how powerful Sublime Text is when it comes to text manipulation.

Only chads comment their code like that.

jesus chris, my eyes

VIM if it's something small, I was managing some of my research scripts with VS Code though. It just werks with python
