Can I get into programming with an associate's degrees?

Is an associate's degrees (w/ or w/o certs on the side) enough for me to get employed or do I need a fucking phD and +10 years of experience working at NASA?

Associate's is fine as long as you have a nice resume and some experience doing stuff. Also applying for smaller companies helps.

Sure. Just dont expect anything above a supporting role until you've paid your dues.

if you have a portfolio, a little work experience, and any amount of interview skills you can get a fine job if you work hard at it

you just won't be working at a prestigious institution and your career trajectory will be below the people with golden resumes

You'll only get a job from people you know, network or starve

Thanks for your advice, mate. Godspeed.

Sure, I know I won't have the job that a CS/Engie major has. And I have no problem with that. Maybe in a few years, with savings, I'll go back to finish my degree. But for now, I need to find work quickly; that's why I'm thinking about going for the associate's degree.
Anyway, thanks for your kind advices. Godspeed.

Damn. 2019 Tinkerbell looks like that?

You can literally get into programming with a Dummies guide to C, C++ and similar.
