AFAIK they just allow user privileged processes to have certain admin privileges like read other processes memory.

But if actually are trying to make a virus you might as well just ask for admin privileges from the get-go because 95% of desktop users will just press yes to that shit anyway and then you'll be able to do whatever you want on the machine.

If you run *any* untrusted code, you need to disable HT.
This isn't a huge issue for non-cloud servers, since you know what is running and there will be no unvetted client code running. Whilst none of the consoles are seemingly affected, they too wouldn't have any issues since they only run signed, completely vetted code.

Holy FUCK literally me. 2500k holds up on paper only, real world usage it's usable but extreme worrying. Also 4.6 ghz and the future isn't looking bright.

Zen2 looks great. Shame NVIDIA cards are still overpriced as fuck, but I guess I really need one if I want to play with deep learning.
