Anyway Ryzen 3000 is mentioned, retard.

My brother wants a computer fast. Go for R5 2600/RTX2060/16GB DDR3200/1TB SSD/32" 1440p75 IPS or tell him to WaitTM for R5 3600/top end Navi?

>rgb, instead of pitch black
it's a zoomie's first pc, they NEED the rgb to keep interest

>ryzen 3, instead of ryzen 5
5 is 60EU$ more both for a 1500x or 1600

>1x 16gb ram stick, instead of 2x 8gb ram sticks
it's 2 sticks, why do you think it's one? the picture?

What kind of argument is this?

Back to with you

if he just needs anything and he needs it immediately just grab a 2200g and the cheapest am4 board you can get and throw good parts in it later. throw that used mobo and processor in the cheapest case you can get your hands on along with whatever ram you can get cheap and a hard drive from your junk pile and sell it for $150 on facebook to someone who doesnt know better

None of what you greentexted has ever gone on in my OPs, shithead. Ryzen 3000 isn't getting released for over a month; I'm not taking the R5 2600 out of the OP and I'm not taking the i7 8700K out either, at least not until the release date is closer.

Get fucked, crybaby

is there a comfy rating in headsets? whats the most comfy wireless headset? g935? arctis pro?
i am asking here since hpg hates

damn im dissapointed, i was hoping for amd to bump up their cores yet again to make ryzen 3600x equivalent to the i9 9900k so i could upgrade to that and get rid of the bottleneck in my pc (i5 4690k and rtx 2070).

Attached: Screenshot (130).png (2560x1440, 168K)

Anyone can suggest a good itx casing that can hold 2.5 thiccc graphics card? (Palit 1070 Super Jetsream to be exact)

I wanted to upgrade from my 3770K on a matx board and go SFF when Ryzen 3600 arrives.

Im seeing Obsidian 250D might fit, i doubt the bitfenix prodigy could accept it.
Sentry looks very nice but yeah, doesn't look like thicc cards would fit there.

If I grab this fella, would I need to get an AMD GPU (currently deciding between rx 590 & GTx 1660) to use FreeSync?

>24"
>curved
that's just gonna look weird unless you're sitting 5" from it

>nah, their is some other autistic shill that tries his hardest to remove AMD from the OP
>its just a (((coincidence))) that we use the same images and both want to cut AMD out of the OP
Dig your hole deeper faggot

Reeeaaally. I don’t give a shit about curve to be honest, got another recommendation?

>would I need to get an AMD GPU to use FreeSync?
No, Nvidia graphics cards can use Freesync as well now

Do i wait for Navi y/n?

>tries his hardest to remove AMD from the OP
>want to cut AMD out of the OP
I don't, shithead. That's why my OP has a huge list of AMD CPUs, and it'll probably be completely AMD once Ryzen 3000 gets released

Get your delusion under control, brainlet

Thanks my doot

Looking for a 1440p or higher res graphics card? Wait. If not, don't

How is this ssd?
amazon.com/Kingston-480GB-Solid-SA400S37-480G/dp/B01N0TQPQB/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=kingston 480gb ssd&qid=1559005603&s=gateway&sr=8-3-spell
There is an offer in a local store and i can get that SSD for around 10$ cheaper than a crucial MX500 250gb. It's for a laptop currently using a 1tb 5400 rpm which can only have 1 drive on it.

amazon.co.uk/HP-144Hz-Gaming-Monitor-FreeSync/dp/B072Z68K7P

Anything wrong? Looking at this 144hz monitor specifically cause I can get it on my Argos card instantly.

Sliger SM560 triple slot GPU for itx builds

Attached: 11.jpg (1185x1024, 775K)

Was about to buy a b450 mobo, R5 2600x, and rtx 2070. Is it worth just waiting for the x570 and R5 3600x? How much more will they cost and is the jump in performance that much better?

The Meshify C case doesn't need any additional fans when I just run a relatively light build, right?

It depends on what you do, with the money to go from b450 to x570 and 2600x to 3600x you could jump from 2070 to 2080 if you go for the cheap cpu + mobo, if it's for gaming then going for the better GPU is almost always the better option.

Definitely wait. Im in the same position as you except im doing 2080

Wait til we have more info on Navi and benchmarks for Ryzen 3000
guru3d.com/news-story/amd-releases-ryzen-5-3600-and-3600x-as-well.html

Thanks for the advice, I guess I'll wait and see on Navi and benchmarks. I'm just eager to upgrade from my garbage i5-4690k and 970.

What're the expected costs of X570 motherboards? Would it be more worth it to get a X470?

If you're buying Navi you'll need a 1440p or better monitor as well. Navi isn't for 1080p

Will I be able to put a 3900x in my MSI Mortar B450m? That 12 cores look sexy.

attention plz

building my first rig here, what kind of problems am i going to have running an outdated mobo and CPU? I have a secondhand msi z87-g45 and an i5 4570

am i gonna have problems running them with a gtx 1050?

no

Also good to know. Was planning on getting a 1440p monitor anyways.

why would a dual channel 16GB of 2x8GB RAM be better than one 16GB stick? distribute the load into two channels instead of one so it's more efficient?

would 2 dual channels be quad channel or 2 dual channels?

I am looking at building a small form factor ITX htpc build to replace my laptop. I want to use the 2400g because of its integrated graphics and replace it with the 3400g once it is available later this year. What is a good ITX motherboard for me to get that will be compatible with the upcoming 3400g ?

Attached: 2400 g.jpg (1000x667, 117K)

Why not just wait for the 3400g altogether?

No reason to replace the 2400G in an HTPC

Because i dont think it releases until almost 2020 and i kind of need something now

alright, i mean there is a possibility I will just use the mobo (thinkin MSI B450 plus AC) and put it into a larger case with a dedicated GPU and Ryzen 3000 series chip without the integrated so I really just want to make sure the mobo will be good to go and forward compatible

What goal are you trying to accomplish where RGB is MORE important than the performance of the computer itself for a given budget?

Buy them when they are on sale.

>why would a dual channel 16GB of 2x8GB RAM be better than one 16GB stick?
Double the bandwidth

>would 2 dual channels be quad channel or 2 dual channels?
Two dual channel

You'll be fine. I have a curved 24" monitor and it werks for me.

>What goal are you trying to accomplish where RGB is MORE important than the performance of the computer itself for a given budget?
RGB inflates the price by roughly 10%, which would give no performance benefit if redirected towards that aim.

The case, motherboard, psu are gonna stay in the future and are the foundation for upgrades, while already doing their aesthetic job.

Attached: DwssCjqVYAAwk8G.jpg (740x557, 47K)

X570 is worthless. A whole new chipset will come out before you can use it's features.

>gtx 1050
the only problem you are going to have is shit tier performance-value and a need to upgrade in about a year from now
t. dumb stupid idiot that bought the gtx 1050

snagged a carbide 270r nonwindowed version at a nearby surplus shop for 19 usd from my local currency. Pretty good deal considering it's pretty much brand new sans the original packaging and i ain't gonna use the side panel anyways.

>RGB
>future

lol. your machine will look outdated by the end of the year.

When can we realistically expect budget friendlier chipsets like the A and B series?

is now a bad time to upgrade my cpu and mobo?

>non bugged USB3 isn't usable
lolwut?
That's the best feature of X570 - no retarded ASMedia bugs.

USB works fine for everyone else using B450 and X470.

I have a keyboard with red led and a mouse with blue
It still kind of bugs me no matter how good the mouse is even after several years

The on-die USB3 works fine.
The Chipset USB3 only works properly if you install ASMedia drivers bundled with AMD's chipset drivers.
This is because the chipsets are bugged and require signal redrivers which aren't enabled by default.

That's why AMD ditched ASMedia in the first place.
That's why the initial Ryzen 1xxx launch was delayed from ~Nov 2016 to March 2017.
That's why even Intel users with ASMedia USB3 chips are advised by Valve/HTC/Occulus to not use ASMedia USB3 ports for VR.

ASMedia sucks.

>27"
>1440p/144hz
>vidya
>$500 budget
What kind of monitor panel should I get, and should it be curved or not?

I usually buy 2nd hand components. I haven't shopped for a GPU since the mining craze. Does buying a card previously used for mining really matter?

Attached: file.png (1200x675, 1.27M)

The same old stock answer applies: If you prioritize online competitive games get a 144hz TN, if you want deep blacks and well rounded gaming/movie watching in a darker room get VA, if you want well rounded slightly better motion clarity for games/movies and better overall uniformity of the screen in bright scenes get an IPS. Curved or non-curved makes no difference, that's down to preference. I hate curved personally because it makes straight lines going across the screen curve with the screen.

I'd like to know this too, although If I get a used GPU online it'll be NVIDIA and those cards weren't as popular for miners as AMD ones.

Been outta the loop for a while. I have a 4790k/1070 build that's doing okay but gets overwhelmed on occasion. Have put off a new build of late due to shit being retardedly priced.

Any news on the 2070ti and if it'll be a worthwhile buy?

Attached: 1496793243314.jpg (604x516, 126K)

Christmas

I've sold several well taken care of GPUs on Ebay and never mined with them. I don't think I'd buy a card that was used for that, but in all my listings I explained what card was used for, that my case was well ventilated. There's a lotta sellers like me who sell when they upgrade, I'd buy from reputable ones...not miners.

Are VA smearing and IPS backlight bleeding as big of problems as people make them out to be or is it blown out of proportion for shitposting?

Any idea when the i5 9500/9500f is releasing?

Intel says it launched Q2, but I'm not sure if it's on the market yet.

What's the best triple monitor setup?
3 flat monitors
3 curved monitors
1 flat monitor & 2 curved monitors
1 curved monitor & 2 flat monitors

toms hardware sucks now. where can I go for reviews on all things pc building?

3 flat in a curve around you

Is it worth paying up for 3840x1600 if I'm going for 21:9 or is a quality 3440x1440, at a much lower price, a better buy?

What's the catch? I get $2130 for this build.

Attached: 20190527_232630.png (1846x1179, 1.28M)

Unironically Jow Forums. If you can sort through the fanboys, shitposters and trolls there's a lotta good info here.

AIO is probably dead

It's still a steal if anything but the gpu is bad.

RTX 2060 is already barely relevant thanks to the Vega 56 price drops. It exists for retards who can't UV a 56. The release of the RX 5700 is going to kill it completely. RIP RTX 2060 2019-2019.

The catch is Tyrone prolly stole it.

I blotted out the town but I assure you that type of Tyrone is shot on site there.

jesus christ the fucking reflection

So how much better is the 3700X going to be than the 2700X? Huge single-core improvements? Worth waiting for?

Why isnt koreansluts real? YOU OWE ME SLUTTY KOREANS

1% single core improvements, larger multicore improvements, not worth waiting for, buy the 2700x when the new stuff comes out and hope the 2700x becomes cheaper
