realistically probably never.
PhotoDNA takes a decent amount of resources, only large social media websites are really using it.
It's unlikely that Microsoft is going to roll out its database of CP image hashes to customers in a windows update.

I don't think MS is really interested in playing cops.
Doing so for free doesn't make sense for them businesswise, they're not getting paid.
MS would sooner backdoor its OS for law enforcement to use on request and then use its telemetry and spying specifically to profile users as a means of building data for advertising and improving their products without people opting in to test.

ur fuckin dumb as shit, just roll with the meme, why u gotta ruin everything?

>tfw no yandere, controlling W10 gf

It was a fucking shit garbage larp meme

>user-kun, why are you looking at porn? Want me to call the authorities and tell them about the cunny folder?

If there were only a backdoor into the processors themselves that would let authorities in.

But that'll never happen, I'm sure the security is too tight on the processors themselves.

What if I am looking at W10-tan hentai?

It does this in reverse.
Your images are hashed and sent to Microsoft.

prove it

I know that feel bro!

I don't see how getting your paying customers arrested for thought crimes is good for business.

Try and reverse image search any c model on google. You almost always get no results except a single obscure russian imageboard that hasnt be de-indexed yet.

It isn't just hashes at this point. If facial recognition matches a c model that Google recognizes then you get no results. You can prove this by putting the same image into a Bing search which isn't as sophisticated yet but is slowly trying to catch up and do the same thing.

This technology will absolutely be used to erase records of unsavoury people in the future. Look at the Christchurch shooting where authorities try to blackhole any info relating to the case. Search engines of the future will deperson mass shooters, erasing their face off the planet any images of a shooting. Then, Jared Taylor will no longer exist.

Hypothetically, this is what my friend in Minecraft told me

those are all web based though, of course google images have anti-CP shit running on their end.
you're not proving that image hashing is happening locally on W10 machines though.

No need. Jow Forums already reported me to Interpol. I am currently under police investigation after they took everything one morning, threw me in a cell and questioned me about my 'crimes'.

tape defeats this

It already is a reality.

That's how MS AV works.
They index every single file on your filesystem and make a hash of it.
Send it to their database and when ever you install/download a file they compare that hash to all their users.

If 95% of their userbase has it, it'll be greenlit.
If 0.1% of them have it they will dissect that file manually and declare it's safe factor.

Apple is the same way but their reasons are for piracy.
dailydot.com/upstream/apple-deletes-digital-purchases/
(while it states only itunes stuff lots of people lost pirated music/movies unrelated to Itunes which proves they parse your drive.

The next step would be the agencies to cross compare their hash database of honeypot pron files they threw out on the net with MS hashes.

Read the EULA next time that states they parse every file on your drive and that the operating system is fully owned by them you are merely utilizing their services.

Can this thread just be filled with more browser-chans and OS-chans?

They'd have to be in possession of enough CP to make a reliable neural net to process it. They could use just pictures of children but that would cause too many false positives. If they created "synthetic" CP where they spliced parts of a child onto a adult body I feel like that would violate some laws as well, and still create a ton false positives.

Did you guys know all recorded cases of illegal pornograpy have to be fully and personally verified by a law enforcement agent?

There is a guy out there whose 9 to 5 consists entirely of watching confiscated CP.
