AMD BTFO

They said we would have 6 cores for 100 usd.
They said we would have 8 cores for 200 usd.
They said we would have 12 cores for 330 usd.

Everything was a lie.

How will AMDfags ever recover.

I had so many hopes and expectations for Zen 2 but AMD let us down again.
My next CPU will still be Intel.

Nice cope there incel

Who is they? Some drunk Scottish fag who melts down when people call out his shit?
Or the paki website who throws literal garbage on the same rewritten article for ad money?

>Oy vey

I'm buying 4 and you can't stop me.

>They
AMD itself didn't say shit. AMDrones did.

Those prices are next year after they launch zentres

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
Remember that? The retail price is one of the last things that is decided. Also, the entry level processors weren't announced yet (just like with the Ryzen 1000 and 2000 series).

They said there'd be snow at Christmas
They said there'd be peace on Earth
But instead it just keeps on raining

it was 50% faster in workloads like encoding

shittposting and cheerleading aside AMD finally found itself in a position to charge a bit of a premium (from AMD's standards) to pay off some of their massive debt. I don't think they wanted to totally knock out intel because they know they can simply respond to anything intel has with releasing their 16c/32t parts and threadripper gen 3

>DonanimHaber "rumors" are on par with a computex keynote where AMD cited SPECint improvement of 15%

>The level of pants on head intel shilling in this thread

>charge a premium

The 3900x is the same msrp as the 1800x from two years ago at 2x single threaded performance, 4x multi thread, and same power.

Closest intel competition is 2x the price for worse performance and insanely worse power draw. Or the 9900k which is the same price but matches in single core, 1.5x slower multi core, and has even worse power draw than intels 12 core chip.

There is no premium, its a fucking steal for what amd is actually selling.

Yep, only part I'm disappointed at.
