Waited 3 months for Mi 9 from announcement to be available on Amazon, then K20 Pro came out.

Such is life chasing the fad...

Does the P30 Pro have a mode where I can take 3 images simultaneously?

I want to be able to press the button 1 time and get 3 images made from all 3 focal lengths.
Would this be possible?

>But everyone were supposed to follow muh TRUMP!
I don't even think this is Trump related.

It's the CIA and FBI who are butthurt at the Kirin processor.
It was most likely them and NSA who pressured the ISPs.

>keep waiting for huawei to come down in price
>they only keep going up
>now they're going to be out of stock and more expensive than before

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

have OP7P ghost touch issues been fixed w/ software updates?

That's the difference between Huawei and Xiaomi unfortunately.

Xiaomi tries to sell at cost so you get the most affordable hardware.
Huawei actually sinks money into researchAsking Sony to custom design the IMX 650 just for them is quite expensive thing to do.
They're going to have to dish up the $$$$ to make such custom orders. This cost is transferred to the consumer obviously.

>chink phones
Can you watch 60fps porn on them?

Never had any on my machine in the first place.

they have not. some users turned off NFC and it went away, others turned off NFC and the ghost touch issues remain. i would be surprised if it is not a hardware issue.

yeah clearly huawei innovates more, but i thought the trade ban would mean their prices would tank. that hasn't happened, they've just reduced their supply and the cost did not go down.

I'm literally using the Max Pro M1 because I don't give a shit about anything but the headphone jack, battery life and clean software.

cool blog i subscired

>no response
I guess nobody on /spg/ actually own one.

no one here buys phones dumbass we just look at spec sheets

I don't think so but I've never had any in the first place. Possibly it's something similar to the OnePlus One hardware problem: forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/fixing-ghost-touch-grounding-issue-hint-t2951000

This post should be stickied at the top of every /spg/ thread

I'm in the market for a new phone and I have a Moto X Pure that's shitting the bed

>Budget is $200 - 260
>Has LTE support for Tello/T-Mobile bands
>6’ or bigger
>No notch, teardrop is OK

I hate how quickly the battery in this went to shit, unfortunately the vision is the same apparently

Redmi K20, non pro.

He said "LTE support for Tello/T-Mobile bands" dumb fuck

>3 year old 808 house fire phone has a degraded battery
woah .........

Things like this just makes me want to stick to low-mid end like the Redmi series.

If I'm going to replace that shit in 3 years time already then it best best less than 200 bucks.

thinking of getting a Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite for the non-bloat, or should I get a note 7 instead and just wipe it using the fast boot tools? price difference would be just over 40€

redpill me on the pixel 3a

Redmi Note 7 with a custom ROM. No contest. Also no reason to still be using a Snapdragon 625.

>good camera
>good Lineage support

thats literally all I want, does it exsist?

...

which one bros

Pocophone, Mi8 or Mi Mix 2s with GCam.

Pick me out a xiaomi phone thats better than my aging Honor 7x for less than $250.

Attached: Xiaomi-Logo.png (1054x918, 8K)

Gcam works like shit on the 2s stock. Is the phone a lot better on LOS?

Note 7

Redmi Note 7, dear friend. Very best! Guaranteed

My 2s is on lineage, I like it better than MIUI. Only thing I miss are the gestures. FluidNG is almost as good.
f.celsoazevedo.com/file/gcamera/MGC_6.1.021_MI8_V2e.apk
That gcam works fine for me. I didn't have any trouble on Xiaomi.eu either though.

Good phone that supports lte band 71?

Which Gcam port are you using?

Pixel 3a

What's your budget?

The one listed on xda for the mix 2s. It's honestly been a while since I tried it so I don't remember what worked and what didn't.

>Global K20 launching next month
>Going to be called Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro

And? So?

Phone names sounding less like cars and more like Street Fighter iterations

If you're buying a chinkphone, the last thing you're gonna be caring about is the fucking name.

No different from the pc hardware market
>DOMINATOR
>GAMING X
>SNIPER

What's the point of releasing the K20 Pro when they already had the excellent Mi 9?

Attached: 1492660042953.png (404x404, 118K)

I thought it would at least have a micro SD card slot and a headphone jack, but no. I guess the point now is the lower price tag than the Mi 9?

I bought an eceleb themed mobo for 90€ used. I didn't realize I was seeing the stylized portrait of a real person for like a year. I thought it was some sort of chinky flare, like the cgi people on GPU packaging. It's obnoxious as fuck but at least I only see it once per reboot.

Not really the thread for it but are smartwatches worth it?

Price.

How long does it usually take before chinkphones come down in price to non-ripoff levels on AliExpress? Weeks?

Mi9 left the budget flagship category, so they filled the vacancy with the K20.

No.

Android 10 when?

Why is there shilling for the k20 pro when Xiaomi build quality and OS is such shit?

Well on the newer ports pretty much everything works perfectly.

their build quality isn't shit and the OS is ok

>chinkphone arrived today
feeling like a kid on christmas eve right now

A few weeks at least. Prices are high initially because the availability is low, keep in mind that you're competing with millions of chinks to buy the phone if it has just launched. Once the third party sellers start getting more stock the prices will drop.

Which chink phone?

Poco F1
not thrilled with the notch but at least the display is wider than 1080p and it doesn't get in the way when watching videos

pixel 3a is overall best but priciest and also big ass bezels
i got an a40 myself
nokia 7.1 is gay and i think they also have locked bootloader lole

How do you know what the build quality is like when it has just been released? Anyone complaining about MIUI on Xiaomi devices is a moron. Even Linus could manage to install a custom ROM, and so could and should you as well.

I put the nokia in there because the build quality seemed nice

what's your opinion on the a40 so far?

Use NachoNotch.

Another rec for NachoNotch, works well to hide the notch. MIUI has its own setting to hide the notch too but that moves the whole status bar down, I prefer the way NachoNotch does it which is that it simply blacks out the status bar.

Just got a galaxy note 9 for around 500 bucks, please tell me i did fine.

So in other words, by the time I can comfortably buy this, I can also buy the ZenFone. Damn, I still can't choose.

Good to know there are ways to hide it. I assumed you're stuck with the notch for some reason.

Should've probably asked this here. Didn't know there was a general for it.
So yeah, anyone can recommend it?

you did fine

Me defending Huawei. No, they're shit, both shit.

It's shit, don't buy

>buying huawei now
you won't have play store or android updates in a few months

Is that really true? I thought the existing phones wouldn't have a problem with updates, only the new ones they make in the future.
Also, if I'm in Europe does that affect me too. And I heard they were going to sign an agreement eventually anyway.

What else could I but in that price range?

Which pixel is best pixel? Also why the fuck does the cheaper version have more feature i.e. headphone jack

Redmi Note 7 is the current top phone in the sub-$200 price range.

Google is a US company so yeah it affects you.

What about the people who already bought a Huawei phone? Will they really be screwed out of future updates?

As of right now it's looking like it. Glad I ditched Honor before this happened. Things might still change though.

Thank you kind user.

What board is that?

Definitely. You don't even get used Note 9s in my country for that much.

I actually have both of these phones. The a2 lite is fantastic if you want something smaller. Android one was good. Not great but I liked it. Still use it for media and music listening.
The mi note 7 on the other hand is awesome. Feels premium. Looks great, screen is good when you change the color settings to your peference. Miui is kinda bad. Gesture nav is nice though. You can always do a custom rom. If you want a phone that's a little larger and a lot more kino I'd grab the redmi note 7.

Asrock Fatal1ty something something. I have a 2500k so it must be LGA 1155, I guess a P67.

is the s10e proof that 1440p on a phone is a meme?
I have an S9 and sometimes I lose track of whether I had QHD even enabled.
Yeah I can tell the difference as soon as I toggle it again but it's still subtle.
Most S9 and S8 owners I know weren't even aware their phones weren't running full resolution out of the box.

The S10e seems overpriced for a phone that's only 1080p, but that just makes me realize higher resolution phones are only valued for the number instead of actually being a noticable benefit.

So whats the go to middle range phone right now?
Is it the Redmi 7 or the Pocophone F1?

Also is the Redmi 7 or the Redmi Note 7 the preferred one ?

If your budget is $200, Redmi Note 7. If your budget is around $300 then Pocophone or wait for Redmi K20 Pro to drop in price.

At this point, yes. 1440p was primarily pushed by Samsung who wanted to cash in on the VR hype train where ~400 ppi isn't enough. When VR (and especially mobile) turned out to be a meme itself, they silently dropped it but kept the screen resolution for publicity reasons.
1440p does have a future, though, I fully expect it to find a solid ground be it either in foldable devices or some other way of increasing the screen size.

Redmi Note 7 is the one you want, but it really depends where you live as to which version you get.

I bought a redmi note 7 for someone else and set it up for them, put the screen protector on perfectly, and just used it for a day. It made me feel very stupid spending even $550 on my SD845 phone. When it comes down to it things have plateau'd so hard that a $200 phone is 95% of a flagship 4-6x the cost outside of gimmicks like MUH WIRELESS CHARGE and MUH DAC and MUH 90HZ. Who even charges their phone more than once a day anymore? My phone is 3400mah and is 50% when i go to bed, and I'm on the thing like an antisocial faggot all day

Just got my op7p, what app should I install and is there a better music player than power amp?

Xiaomi Mi A3 when?

so my moto g4 is breaking and I may need to get a new phone, really sad because I was expect it to last most of my lifetime

I'm in US on a Sprint MVNO, so I need a CDMA phone
thing for some reason all the new phones don't have it, can't upgrade to g7
what are the cheapest newest phones that support CDMA?

I've been a Note 8 owner since two years ago.
Should I buy an open box Note 9 512gb on eBay or wait until late August for the Note 10?

>I've been a Note 8 owner since two years ago.
>Should I buy an open box Note 9 512gb on eBay or wait until late August for the Note 10?

Same user here. Note 9 512gb would be $587, Note 10 is nearly $1k likely

Isn't the RN7 like 270 tho?

none, ditch Sprint and get Google Fi

fuck off tello mobile is $8 a month

yeah it's fucking $8 for a reason
>Sprint MVNO
you basically HAVE to give it away for next to nothing
>shit network
>shit choice of devices
it's shit, Jim
