On Android 9
Suddenly a number of apps no longer have audio notifications
They have the notification dot, they have the on screen when the notification happens and they have the app icon in the status bar. But they are completly audibly silent.
I have reset all notification settings and have manually gone in to the app and verified they have full notification rights and that none of their permissions are limited.
How can i diagnose this?

The C Programming Language by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie
O'Reilly - Practical C Programming

and not really sure how I'm supposed to make these books work when they're 20/30 years old

Both drives are TLC (planar vs 3D). There may be slight differences in performance, but their specs are practically identical.

I bought a Surface Pro 5th gen from Best Buy 2 years ago. Didn't get a warranty. I want to get rid of it for as much as possible. What's the best plan of action? Can I somehow get a replacement and sell it as new?

I've got a second monitor connected to my motherboard's hdmi port. After my shit crashed a few weeks ago, the second monitor stopped displaying. I changed the integrated graphics as the primary boot method (IGD), that worked for a while, but eventually the monitor wouldn't turn on again. I found from there, shutting down and removing the power cable from my computer and replacing it would let it turn on for that session, but now that's not working either anymore.
Any suggestions?

It's well structured and especially well written for a programming book. They advance through the material at a steady but reasonable pace. Unless you have trouble understanding basic elements like loops, it should be perfect.

1. When I make a file/folder on one hard drive, the software automatically copies it to another hard drive

Pretty much. If you go and download the spec sheets from WD there's almost no difference, besides the fact there's a 2TB model for the newer version.

Built my first pc 2 months ago and everything has been great so far. Been playing all my games through steam without a hitch but for the last couple of days steam has been displaying 'We've come up empty, try clearing your search' etc. Whenever I click anywhere on the window it freezes and says not responding. I like that in Calibre you can type any word and it will bring back anything that has that exact string of letters + anything that's even remotely similar.

My GPU is randomly throttling itself to less usage for split seconds at a time causing frame drops in video games. It seems to do this in every game regardless of how taxing it is on the system. Likely causes? My best guesses are a faulty NVIDIA driver or a failing PSU.

I would like to learn a programming language that could allow me to deal with cryptocurrency exchanges APIs, to make some little trading bots for myself, because I don't trust other people. i cannot fucking delete .git directory on windows. im losing my fucking shit. nothing people say helps, everything gives a fucking error.

Normal for a 980 Ti. Liimits to around 83C for demanding games. 50-60 for non demanding games. Just to be sure, I underclocked it and have the fans running at max through Afterburner. The frame drops still happen regardless of how demanding the game is. I havent monitored the voltage while gaming yet but I do have some graphs of CPU, memory and GPU usage while idling if it helps.

If you still have warranty for it, just get a replacement. Otherwise, if you have a different PC (or spare GPU) try swapping GPUs and see if problem persists in either. Reinstall drivers, etc. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help.

I have a 2.8mb webm that's a minute long. Took it to two separate online webm editors to cut the time down 20 seconds to get the filesize lower. The first one increased the size to 12mb and the second to 6mb.

I have a computer with Mac and Linux installed on a hard drive and Windows installed on an SSD. The hard drive had a Clover bootloader that boots all 3 and I want to just install Linux on the hard drive over the existing installs and replace the bootloader so it just boots into Windows and Linux. Can I do this without fucking up the Windows install on the SSD? It's the only thing that's important to keep
