Intel isn't better.
Yeah of course they've got slightly better results in games because of better latences thanks to ring bus and higher frequencies, but that's all really.

Is the Intel shilling on this board actually paid shills or is it just people with buyers remorse?

Nice synthetic benchmark, poorfag.

In the real world intel is smoother, faster and more responsive.

Both

>**Security patches not included

I’m not running an enterprise level datacenter so the exploits are completely irrelevant.

So you aren't running the recommended security patches? Hmm I guess with Intel you can have performance OR security just not both.

I’m not a target for those kinds of exploits. The patches are unnecessary.

op here, i can tell for sure it's buyer remorse.
I bought i5 8400 on release with a z370 board and I shitposted here shilling intcel. after the first security patches I realized I made a mistake. so, when (((they))) lied saying that there was a shortage of chips and they had to rise prices, I sold everything for an higher price on ebay, then I bought a 2600 and a b450 itx board. now I'm sitting here with the comfiest setup I've ever made, running the 2600 @3.95 with a decent undervolt and a 1050ti

Looks nice, can you get the heat out well? I think gigantic fridge size cases are ugly and obsolete. There shouldn't be 90% empty space inside.

Ofcourse more space == more room. Idiot.

>(NEW) Benchmarks don't matter!

it's just for synth benchmarks :^) you need to see in the real world, where intlel is smoother, faster and more responsive (what does that even mean?)

I'm gonna have to agree, AMD cpus just don't feel right, Intel's on the other hand have much better processing feel, it's hard to explain but they just have a smoother and more vibrant feel when using them, either on desktops or laptops or anything, really.

i know right, the heat they emit makes me feel like it's doing REAL work, unlike those pecho frio amd cpus

pushing on processing power feelings: the next gen shilling

>PSU at the top
Is your PC from 2004?

Stop spreading FUD, Intel is by fart the best CPU in the market, they offer the best CPU and there is nothing you can do about it.

>Higher IPC
>Higher Frequency
>Higher CPC (Cost Per Core)
>Higher Power Consumption
>Higher Temperatures
>Bigger Core Size
>Higher Stock Cooler noise

AMD Can't beat them on anything and, if you want the best you buy INTEL.

I forgot to add the Intel also has the most vulnerabilities, yeah yeah AMD Shills will try to convince you that's a bad thing but they are just dumb bigots that hate Jewish people so they will say anything to hurt Intel.

There is reason people who do daily 4K video editing still use Intel

Heck one I watch recently is contemplating going back to intel from a Threadripper 1950x and 64gb ram because he says the intel is smoother scrubbing through timelines.

What a stupid decision, 8400 and 2600 is not different, why don't you save money and get a stronger Zen 2 or wait for new, better CPUs year later? I'm still rocking a 8400 and it's run just fine, mitigations slowing computer down are fucking memes for everyday taskcases, keep your OS clean is the most important thing. For my use case, I'm often run PCSX2 in software mode, and 8400 with AVX2 still run pretty fine

Indeed

side grading was the purpose, because I had buyer remorse. and in the end I ended up saving money and having a better setup. cope harder faggot.

What I said is that if you have video editing or 3d rendering task, you wouldn't buy 8400 at the first place, for AAA gaming, of course not 8400 either, therefore to buy i8400 in the first place, you made a mistake in the first place. After that, you throw it out with Z370 board just to buy zen 2600, not waiting for zen 3.
While I'm here just using a i8400 with cheap H310 and cheap ram, content with what I bought for my use case. I guess most AMDrones here are just people who waste money with Intel and then having buyer remorse, while real AMD users from the start would not fucking care about Intel.

>reading comprehension again
what is unclear in "on release"? we are talking about October 2017. z370 boards were the only ones available at that time. I sold my old pc in summer so waiting for zen 2 wasn't an option. instead I waited for zen+ (April 2018). your whole point of view is garbage and makes no sense. you are just a delusional faggot

Why not buying 8600K, if you have Z370? Or even Ryzen 1700X? They are the performance chips, not 8400. I really don't understand your decisions from the start, or do you think you can cheap out on the cpu?

>why not paying more, goy?
people like you are the ruin of the market. I hope you are just pretending to be retarded. my user case was a multi-purpose pc at decent price. 8400 was good, but why should I use it when I can have a fucking huge improvement at the same price? also, probably your brain can't process my posts, but selling everything in bulk was a better choice because both z370 boards and coffin lake chips' prices spiked up. I ended up saving something like 70€ with this build, I have an objectively better machine for my purposes and I no longer have buyer remorse.
