Because they default your download choice to that every time now, you have to manually state that you don't want their always-on bullshit (and even their normal drivers are "always on" until you disable telemetry)

with the current driver, the only nvidia process running on my system is nvdisplay.container.exe and so far it has not tried to connect to the internet.
