I always read the value of every component I am using, since it's very easy with some digital thingy that I got.
OTOH I don't dare to buy capacitors or resistors from anywhere else, since they usually ship chink shit. I bout a bundle from digikey ~5 years ago, they shipped me a chink 1600pcs/lot for 1.5 the price, plus I had to pay 3 times the import fees since it came to europe from the states.

I do NOT recommend this adaptor to anyone.

kbdfans but they mostly have more expensive dye-sub printed caps. tada68 already includes dye-sub thick pbt cherry profile keycaps. side-printed keycaps would be a decent cheaper alternative (some top-printed keycaps rub off or have a texture)

for hobby stuff i would probably go with those no clean flux pens, it works very nice and you dont even need to clean afterwards. if you want THICCer stuff what is probably ok (i use fake amtech 223, it very cheap and works but it requires cleaning afterwards)
