what is your approach to FOSS?

This. I've replaced almost all of my pirated software with free alternatives, but some things just can't be replaced.

don't care, freetard slaves make shit programs anyway

Video editors and compositors are hard to find good alternatives for. The best I've found so far is kdenlive

Only simple programs benefit from FOSS faggotry, most "free" software might as well be closed source since they're written like shit and nobody is going to wade in it.

Free software only

Some of my devices require nonfree wifi drivers but I'm planning on fixing that soon

What about Natron for compositing? I've only heard of it because I'm too lazy to actually learn it

Free software when possible. Sadly using libre hardware is very difficult. Librem 5 costs a lot relative to it's specs and even then the baseband processor still runs nonfree software. Talos II is fully libre hardware I think but it also costs too much. I'd love to see phones in the $200-300 range and laptops/desktops in the $500-$1000 range.

and they say real life mimics art

I use FOSS when it's the superior option.
So never.

i never used it and find nonfree alternatives

Not even whenever possible, but I will almost always give the FOSS alternative a fair shot. Other than games and some firmware/drivers, the only non-free software I use is Chrome, IrfanView and Jdownloader.

They are a cult, I treat them as such.

Actually free software like R, 7zip, irfanview, notepad2, musicbee, microsoft math, etc. I'll use if its good. Open source is fine but not required.

How did he become so bloated

intel microcode updates are proprietary

Only Krita is decent

Do you have a link to the original video with sound on peertube or some other free platform?

Only nonfoss thing I have is my bios

Pretty much this. Choose the lesser evil and be happy saying "fuck you" to MS and its retarded OS. Still use Google for searches. Chrome does not work well on my computer, so it's FF for me.

In order of preference
OSS, FOSS, free, cracked in a sandbox, proprietary paid for
I only care about having the ability to port software that I want to use in case I switch OS.

I use what's best for me. Pretty much the only non open source shit I use is the gaymen

The second option. I try to use as much free software, but often for work I have to use proprietary software (mainly Microsoft office and windows). For personal use the only proprietary software I use is google maps, since the only alternative osmand doesn't have proper address support in my area.

Those r's.
What the fuck? I though Stallman could actually speak Spanish.

I try to replace all of my software with FOSS alternatives since they tend to be more lightweight, but I'll use proprietary if the functionality is superior to the alternatives.

Don't care. I use what's the best. Plenty of foss tools being the best in their class.

Whatever works and doesn't make me tear my hair out to get working.
Unlike freetards, my time isn't worthless.

I use whatever works best. Sometimes that means FOSS, sometimes proprietary software.

Why not switch to Chromium or Iridium?

I always start with FOSS because it's the easiest to try out.
Only if none of the FOSS alternatives are satisfying will I look at proprietary.

GNU

proprietary software only

That's really clever. The cards were placed in such a way that the message they convey when read combined is the exact opposite of the message they were intended to convey when originally created.
