I wouldn't be opposed if they were a rectangular object exactly as wide as and with the same profile as the phone. USB-C means it's reversible for the occasional video call.

only if its the front facing one. 99% of the times I use my phone's camera it's to take a picture of something quickly on the spot. pull out phone, take picture. simple. fuck digging around in my pocket/bag/faggypack/rectum for a fucking dongle each time. I use my phone because it's convenient for quick shots. if its not convenient anymore I might as well just not bother and use my DSLR for everything else
