I need a lawnmower

looking for something tight, no wider than 25 inches. I have to lug it from my basement to the backyard so preferably something that can fold and doesn't take up too much space. Lastly I want it to be cordless and electric.

really don't know anything about the lawn game nor do i know what's a respectable mower. hoping some anons know some quality recommended mowers.

>respectable mower
Klippo
>can fold and doesn't take up too much space., electric. I have to lug it from my basement to the backyard.
A cheap Electrolux Flymo Turbo 400, you can hang it on the wall, people use it for hills that are too steep for a normal heavy mower.
>cordless
Not enough juice unless you buy something expensive. (money better spent on a good gas mower)

Attached: 5849.jpg (400x400, 14K)

Just get whatever Ryobi is on sale and within your budget

hmm i could do something with a cord if it was retractable or something. But i hate the clutter and hassle that comes with using my own extension cord.
is ryobi that much of a standard to just get one?

>I want it to be cordless and electric
Why, are you a faggot or something?

They're not all that better than their competition, but they have good warranties and are sold at just about every Home Depot
Try finding a part for a no name electric garden tool from a company that went belly-up 5 years ago, shit's awful

>I have to lug it from my mom's basement to the backyard
FTFY

I you want to lug it up and down from your basement then it has to be very very light.

Electric lawnmowers have more torque than gas mowers

i looked up to see what country is responsible for such a homosexual lawn mower and discovered that you need spacers to adjust the height lol what a piece of shit, a gay looking piece of shit

>2019
>mowing your own grass
Do you guys not have mexicans/niggers?

No they don't, you fucking retard.

>cordless and electric
cuckold

It isn't 2010 anymore, modern electric mowers using brushless motors and lithium batteries at 80v-120v make more torque than little 140cc gas mower

this is how we do it in Texas.
y'all some fags.

Attached: dixiechopper.jpg (1280x720, 273K)

It is actually my moms basement. my parents are older and my brother is a piece of shit. that means cutting their grass is up to me so i want it to be as fast and easy as possible to get done.
makes sense, i'll look up how much one of them weighs. the staircase from the basement is pretty narrow so that is kind of the bigger factor, hate scraping my arms against the rock when carrying things up and down.
still seems pretty nice, small and lightweight. its a city backyard so its pretty flat, no need to adjust height aside from the initial setup.
mom doesn't like outsiders coming into the house to do shit
not feeling the gas at all
yea my gf's dad in texas has two tractors to take care of his property, about 25 acres

Why would someone have to come into your house to mow the grass? Tell your mom to stop being a fucking retard.

>live in the city
>no backdoor entrance
>convincing a 62 year old woman of anything

>heres my 25 acres of yard(sand) that i ride a mower through on a hot ass saturday
k

get this one, bro.

plus free fertilizer

>62 year old woman
post pics of your mom

this one looks cool

Attached: main02.jpg (1057x611, 171K)

I don't think you actually want that fertilized on your shoes.

dude just get a Craftsman. Standard 22" deck with self propelled wheels. $100 and will last decades.

>lugging it from the basement
not every week? Stop no human is this stupid. Do you not have a garage or shed? If you are actually the 0.00001% of humans bright enough to own a backyard and not have a shed or garage then get a portable shed at home depot. They make little ones that are like the size of a dog house. Or get a cover.

Lugging a dirty lawnmower with a hot muffler inside to a basement every time you finish using it will actually make you certifiably retarded. Like wear for the love of God I hope you wear a helmet while you use it.

If you hire someone, they bring and use their own mowers.

> respectable mower
How much respect do you need here?

Attached: rapid-rex.jpg (1000x750, 390K)

Honda

that'd be so comfy
kekd
yes every week or two i will have to cut their grass. its in the city and city backyards aren't large. they don't want to waste space on a shed that will take up their space. i'm not retarded but i won't argue with my parents, they're old and have been nothing but great to me. i think the flymo might be the mower for me. its lighter and seems like it gets the job done
yea in the city there aren't too many cheap yard laborers like that

what are some of the biggest cons to hover mowers?

Attached: O110-1471.png (2000x2000, 902K)

A push mower, like the one you posted, is the only intelligent alternative to a gas mower.
amazon.com/dp/B00004RA3F

>what are some of the biggest cons to hover mowers?
They're constantly using active propulsion to fly while actually moving at your walking speed. While the alternative is just having some wheels.

They generally should also have issues with longer grass and such.

Attached: rapid-monta-m161.jpg (1000x750, 350K)

Anything Ryobi is pure garbage. Don't ever recommend them again.

you are literately retarded

Get a John Deere, son.

Womp womp

Attached: lawnmower_funny.jpg (468x305, 36K)

I have my doubts you'd actually be able to pedal that thing around. You'd end up getting stuck and spinning your back tire all the time. That, or you'd just hit a tall spot and take a header into the lawnmower.

Detected the Eidgenössli!

>and take a header into the lawnmower.
Nope, then I prefer a Yandere girl who stabs me!

I use Ryobi tools to fix my Porsche, sue me

Specifically, what tool are you using, and to fix what problem? Go.

Currently bolt extractors to remove a broken idler pulley bolt

A filter wrench to change the dirty filters.

I don't believe either of you.

Someone post the boomer on his lawnmower.

I can't I only own electric mowers

>me use tool good!

Better?

Do you use that to clean your butthole?

Just my urethra

I saw this once in an omeagle vid.

I assumed as much

>constantly using active propulsion to fly while actually moving at your walking speed
is this a con?

i'll be mowing once a week so i don't imagine it getting too long

My lawn is lumpy as fuck. I have a feeling a push mower wouldn't work very well ;_;

Go for a walk, now's the time to find them on the curb for free

Get a self propelled honda with the twin blades. It will mulch your grass into fucking dust. Accept no substitutes, seriously get a twin blade honda

Lumpy might be fine, the wheels are pretty big and you can set the cutting height up a couple inches. If you've got weeds or crabgrass forget it unless you like going over the same spot six million times until the blades manage to cut some piece of shit stalk.

>buying Apple of the farming equipment

Unironically, get a scythe.
youtu.be/RGNTYPmeLXk

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 281K)

that looks dangerous

I'd be more worried about powered lawn mowers in regards to how dangerous they are
>In 2010, about 253,000 people were treated for lawn-mower-related injuries; nearly 17,000 of those involved children under age 19, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Are you a shill for Honda? How much do they pay you?

get a goat or a sheep.

hes right tho, a motor scythe without all the meme attachments is pretty handy

Get a harnes mont one, easy to move around and store and you can cut bushes and tree branches with it

bullshit
this shitty 125cc you get on a $100 walmart mower
makes 4.5ft-lbs

this 82v you get on a $500 cordless makes 3.56ft-lbs

Truth.

My dad uses pic related for the first cut of the season.

Attached: Allen motor scythe.jpg (700x525, 122K)

Once you hold the scythe in its normal usage position, it almost can't wound you. Only dangerous to others if you're absolutely not paying attention - main reason why you couldn't let kids under 14 or so handle these.

As the other user pointed out already, machine mowers are what's more dangerous, although even these mostly because people don't pay attention/let kids handle them and don't wear work shoes.

just go to walmart and buy a cheap lawnmower

if you want something lightweight you might want to consider an electric lawnmower, no need for gasoline and no need to change oil, just dont run over the extension cord, or dont forget to charge up the battery the day before mowing

The bigger problem is that if you're someone who doesn't have 5 hours to cut a small piece of lawn a scythe is impractical

Theoretically that'd be easy to design, except the battery would have to be huge and heavy as fuck to last for a whole yard.

Current "srs" 82V battery packs typically have something like 0.3 kWh of power. That's not much.

this is what i have. cuts my yard on one battery.

I highly recommend EGO. I’ve had their mower, blower, and string trimmer for about three years and absolutely love them.

Scythes aren't actually slow, particularly if you're not removing the cut grass you achieve almost the same speed on smaller areas as you would with a motorized household mower.

If you got a larger "estate", of course it can't begin compare to the more srs agricultural machine that you or your hired staff would use.

I've got a couple of these, they work great

Texas has tons of grassland, retard.

I WASN’T TRAINED FOR THIS

Dis nigga knows what’s up.

It’s not shilling if it’s true.

The Suzuki crotch rocket of lawn mowers

What are some good reel mowers? They all seem like the same chinkshit painted different colors. My friend has a small yard and has a PoS Remington and wants to spend $$$ on new powered equipment.

Why not just get a goat?

youtu.be/kNWfqVWC2KI

Get a nice Briggs and Stratton, it'll never let you down. Picture related, my grandfather gave it to me before he died. The original rover engine died and he replaced it with a B&S in the 80s. It starts so easy and never bogs down.

Your air filter (the pentagon thing on the left) is on backwards. Pointy bit should be towards the bars. It wont affect function any (its a fucking air filter), but the proper orientation will stop debris from getting into the external carburetor mechanisms directly underneath it and jamming them up.
Pic is how it's supposed to look.

i have severe medical problem with my ears. are there any mowers that are silent?

push mower or the scythe autism
