I just open iftop to play around and found this.
WTF why is Centos connecting to a tor relay?

install arch + i3, it's the faggot's distribution of choice

why don't you ask #centos

disable the tor service so it doesnt start automatically
i don't post here often, but thanks for calling those faggots out, they make me grind my teeth and clench my fists

i dont know why the server is connecting to this bullshit its a fresh install with only libvirt on it

maybe the iso i downloaded is fucked?

is tor service enabled by default on centos?
i have no tor deamon installed

it's installed by default on a lot of distributions, and connects automatically so you have a session reserved at all times. just type systemctl disable tor.service

no it is not

A guy running a mirror also runs a tor relay on the same server?

>40mm Glocknade

do
sudo ss -4p

find out which process is doing this.

This is a kinda spoopy desu

logicaldoc is the vm on the kvm host that do that connection but this vm is a minimal install to without anything just updates.

i still get the tor connections

Attached: nothing there.png (972x165, 4K)

on the kvm host are only ssh and some localhost connections

on the kvm host there are only sshd and localhost connections

what do you mean, my installation is minimal with only libvirt the guest who is connecting to tor is only minimal install

op here i think i just delete the iso and the vm's dont know what to do.

Tor relays are run by volunteers and mirrors too. Someone could run a CentOS mirror on the same IP as a tor relay and whenever you connect to the mirror you see the same PTR record.

Most likely explanation.
Use socket inspection and tcpdump for further analysis.

ok this would be an valid explanation
but why it is connecting to thehomeofanime.de
and some mailserver i have seen mail.cantremember.net

It could also be a pool.ntp.org server. Multiple services on the same IP but only one PTR possible that's why you see tor on mail PTR records all the time.

so the best way to find out is a tcpdump

Yes

Why are artificial assistants in 2019 basically the same with 2010?

Remember kids: deepfucknugger.glowinthedark.com can be a Tor relay, NTP server, IRC server, FTP server, Web server, Git server, Mail server, rsync server at the same time!

op here i just checked the tcpdump only NTP traffic there nothing special.

case closed thx to all this is the first time i learned something on Jow Forums

Back to Jow Forums you illiterate, mongoloid schizo.
