why arent you using bromite?

because Fennec exists

No 90hz support on my op7p so I use FF focus instead.

Tried to switch to Bromite but had scroll lag.
Switched back to Kiwi; I thought I could get used to the Duet Chrome flag but nope, kiwi does it better.

Because Chromium is the best.

uhh because i use naked browser

because i use google chrome

>closed source proprietary botnet
Their GitHub is exactly equal to chromium which means they don't publish their change.
Also gb2 Reddit

Isn't bromite Android only

Where are the binaries for Windows

Because naked browser

I mite bro

Because this. Full extension support, open source and supports dark node. Also usable and not unbearably slow like Fennec. There's no contest.
/thread

Because, I'm unironically using Mozilla Fenix, their new browser to replace Firefox on mobile.

Shits actually pretty tight. It's super fucking fast, adblock built in. The only thing I don't like is they've introduced a "sessions" idea, which is basically bookmarks, but grouped. Supports dark mode natively.

All in all, pretty comfy.

who comes up with these names
>bogalip
>mercite
>targinex

Because I use Opera Beta on my phone

what extension support?? bromite provides javascript blocker and adblocker, u literally don't need anything else on your phone.
>supports dark node
so does Bromite

> Be me, taking dump
> Remember favourite feature as I browse on my phone

It also includes that feature from the old Firefox implementation where it will load in a panel inside of other apps. Old implementation was buggy and shit. New implementation works, fast. Loads the panel fast, loads the site fast. Just werks (tm).

Because I’m on iOS so I just use Safari

>here is increased customization with no downside
>nah u won't use it anyway

LMAO imagine being THAT beta incel

whats wrong with chrome?

I'm using UC Turbo. Downloads from porn sites and video sites are easy and it gets rid of all the Indian ads and shit on other previous variants of the browser. Honestly I've liked UC Browser since Java times previous to smartphone era.

Because IceCat exists

When is Fdroid going to upgrade Icecatmobile?

Underrated

Bromite is the only browser that I can find that has no trackers in it. Even TOR mobile has one.

Because IceCat mobile exists

Firefox with extensions is superior.

I do, and that's not their icon anymore.

>what extension support?? bromite provides javascript blocker and adblocker, u literally don't need anything else on your phone.
You don't know browser extensions are? Not the built-in gimped ones, but the ones from the Chrome Web Store. UBlock Origin, etc.
>supports dark node
>so does Bromite
Well, good, that's a plus.

Naked is the only good browser.

doesn't work on my shitty xiaomi phone from 2016

I use duck duck go app

name a single reason not to use icecat

What dark mode? I don't see it.
You mean from the shitty chrome flags? LMAO ok

Out of date.

Exodus reports it has 33 trackers
Bromite has 0

But I am using it, user

Bromite is a real compound you incel retard

Icecat has trackers

Unironically I use Yandex. Easy to disable everything, super fast, by far the best in terms of usability. Bottom address bar, no ads, and proper customizable speed dial.

I use Bromite on my poorfag Android 4.4 tablet only because it's faster than Chrome and the ancient build of WebView it ships with.
Firefox Nightly on my phone, and will use Fenix when it's on official repositories and out of closed beta. Somehow Mozilla's frankenstein'ed Gecko is faster than non-WebView Blink on it.

Gecko browsers have unremovable trackers and have no security cohesion with the Android OS. All the security focuses OSes like GrapheneOS, RattlesnakeOS, CopperheadOS, etc. ship with Chromium for a reason. The new Firefox mobile should be better.

the behaviour of those trackers can be disabled through about:config though, can't they?

They're still baked into the core of the app. Unlike in the desktop versions, the Icecat build process doesn't totally remove them.

how is getting spied on by chinks going?

I don't really care if they're integrated, I only care about the final product

I can't even disable disk caching in bromide

not in my legislative jurisdiction, not my problem
