Not sure about that foldable table, it makes it look really temporary and like it's about to collapse.

I'll probably be getting some new stuff in the coming month so i'll get a full 4/6 rack mount then but for now this is the best I can do with the space.
What do you think of that Axe, I was interested in getting an Axe3, but i've since decided I have enough emulations of cabs and amps etc - and went down the path of Elysia/Empirical Labs/Thermionic (culture vulture) instead.
The only reason I didn't get the Axe3 was the price, but realistically I will be spending more than that very soon - probably a UKmod FATSO or a R.Neve tape emulation. I'm all about that THD baby.

Axe II is great, bought it about 7 years ago and still love it. Bought it for those sweet sweet Bogner amps. Lots of other cheaper (but still really good) processors out there.
Pirate some of Mister Slate's VMR plugins before spending cash on irl tape emulation :)

I've got all the tape emu's under the sun and have used physical ones before, the difference is incomparable (to me). Absolutely not the same response in digital.
Besides that, generally speaking I think the Slate stuff sucks. Tinny, harsh and abrasive, again - to my ears - totally incomparable to physical counterparts.
Certain things digital just doesn't do well, tape is one of them. If I wanted a good digital emulation I would use AirWindows ToTape5. Again, I have used the Slate product(s) for a long time, they sound nasty.
I once went to a lecture from a top mix engineer - there was a Slate employee salesman intercepting questions to incite people into using their software, to which the man speaking simply said - everytime - that I never use Slate because of reasons.
I appreciate the response, but just like slate IRL - their sounds are brittle.
Also, the cost is no concern - just the fidelity. I have used *lots* of hardware which was easily beaten by software, but there are some holes that do not get filled by VST's.

Made the mistake of having it in my bedroom at one point with a shitty canister filter that was maddeningly loud. With a better one + lily pipes it's pretty much silent a couple feet away. Gotta make sure to not let too much evaporate otherwise it'll keep anyone up at night

One of the best changes I've ever made, I'd say! My wrists feel a lot less tense after a day at my desk, especially with how high this keyboard is. My only complaint is that the fake leather kinda texture can get a little sweaty; something wooden or cotton might be a little nicer.
