That would be a crazy conspiracy theory if the DOJ actually opened a case on Google, which they didn't. The DOJ just fought the FTC for the authority to open a case, if a case were to be opened, which means jack shit. For all we know the DOJ is trying to win authority so the FTC can't start a case.
