Nothing wrong with it. Just tried Manjaro Gnome, Pop and Solus and Pop OS is the only one that can type Chinese out of the box

Other than the nm-applet use no gtk based software so i have no reason to customize it. I'll usually make sure to customize any other gui stuff i use such as my qutebrowser so it works with the colorscheme that changes automatically with my wallpaper. Until I find me a way to do this with gtk nicely ,i'll stick to my setup. You honestly don4t need gtk to function
