Hi programmers

Hi programmers.

Help me to make Calculator minimal. I just need some buttons removed. I tried to do it myself but a ton of errors popped up. I don't know C++ so I'm stuck.

Here is source code of Calculator.

Start with removing the number 8 entirely, it's a stupid number and no one cares about it. If you want to make it super minimal I'd also consider dropping support for additions.

This, also remove the number 0 it's even worse

This, why even bother enter 0 when it you already know that you cannot dicide by zero or multiplying by zero is already zero thus changing nothing or even adding and subtracting zero

This too
Also remove 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9, why would you need anything than the number one? Just add number one up to the number you need

this. also multiplication is just adding up numbers x amount of times, you can do that with the plus button, get rid of the multiplication button.

have you considered using emacs + lisp?

Also you can subtract by just adding -1 x amount of times so get rid of the subtraction key too.

Remove the GUI entirely, input numbers and commands and numbers in binary using up and down buttons, output the result using PC speaker in Morse. Actually who needs the result, we are talking about minimalism here.

Fucking this, it's literally an 8 who lost his belt
Honest to God the dumbest number, and I've even talked to Eleventeen and Thirty-Twelve

Holy fuck this thread made me spill my coffee. Put me in the fucking screencap faggots.

How about getting rid of the backspace key so that every time the user makes a mistake they have to retype the whole thing.

cin.ignore(1, '\n'')

That layout is cancer.

>here's your calculator bro

Kalculator (or whatever KDE's calculator is actually called) doesn't have this problem.

>kde
>kalculator
>*krashes*

>not using galculator

fpbp

New windows logo looks like shit

Just use dc bro, it's simple and intuitive.

>No using Speedcrunch

this, remove 2, 6, 8, and 9
