It's a useful search feature by which Google provides rich information in the drop down box while you search, often answering your query without you even having to click through to a search result page. It's really helpful for share prices, celebrity birthdays, movie release dates etc. Not sure why OP's autism is being hurt so badly by it

It's a quick way to see the Knowledge Graph results of sonething. It can be very useful when you're looking for more simple things, and is a good addition to help the user find what they're looking for faster. It looks smooth UI-wise and seems to come up with relatively few false positives, yet hold a lot of definitions (there's even a Knowledge Graph for Luigi's Thunderhand move in the Mario&Luigi franchise). Since Google already processed omnibox keystrokes, it comes at no additional privacy cost, and is completely free. There is literally nothing to complain about.
Does that mean I use Chrome? Fuck no, Waterfox56 for life
