it would look better than just having the board name before the thread name, especially considering the limited space there is for the thread name in the bookmark list. Take this screenshot for example , if the board name was before the thread subject then instead of seeing the whole thread subject

When you are on a post like the /CSG/ thread, and click a link that takes you to a post in a previous thread, then use the back button - it takes you back to the index, instead of to the thread you were originally viewing.
