are you using infinality or anything of the sorts?
I found that vanilla, default freetype, after 2.7 is perfect, which made me really happy
maybe check hinting? hintslight seems to work well for me

Currently working on making the browser window handle more than just simple tabs - the ability to mount just about anything that has a window into the browser.
What are you actually doing on your PCs? Not just music, Jow Forums and anime pictures like , , , , , , , , , , , , , , and , I hope.
By the way, just opening some random C file on your PC doesn't make it look like you actually do anything. (Unless your coding style is so crap that nobody'd hire you because you make your code look like it's minified)
