You all know it's true.
You can sti deny it.
A hard pill to swallow

>nothing personal, kid
It's killing off idiots who are using autopilot in a car. Nothing wrong with that
What's next, killing idiots who use cars?
I prefer Free Software over Open Source.
>Bottom car radiates fluorescent white light amidst a golden sunset
You just know it glows in the dark
But some free dick in your anus you faggot
>Nothing wrong with that
Wait until it's illegal to install any steering wheel.
Nope it's very fuckin different especially now.
I download GIMP for free and it stays on my computer till I delete it. I can use it now, or a hundred years from now and GIMP or its devs doesn't care when, how, or where I use it (the devs might care but they legally cant do anything about it).
But then you have something like adobe photoshop.
I can no longer even purchase a permanent "license to use". It's just yearly or monthly licenses
So even if I want the 2019 version in 2022 for whatever reason (it's faster, less broken, my computer doesn't want to work with the newer version, i cant afford a new license, whatever), adobe won't let me use it.
They have been reported to downright let your ass get sued for using it beyond the one year license.
And since adobe licenses other softwares to put into their software, at one point some features from the 2019 release might be gone in the 2024 or 2027 release due to "licensing issues".
Does GIMP have these problems?
No. And it always has the potential as your picture mocks, to eventually get more advanced and comparable to the tesla (or an older model, which some people would definitely want).
Why do you think FreeDOS exists?
Tesla patents are open source you moron.
A thread died for this.
> Implying that code in proprietary software is well debugged, correct, nice and clean code
Driving is an inherently dangerous activity. This is not news.
Dude just pirate Photoshop 2002 or 2015 or Jasc PSP or something.
These millenians are so entitled.
>but muh software license EULA
You know nothing.
chromium
tensorflow
llvm
ghc
fuck you
it is much worse than, say, openbsd or nginx or golang
what a worthless post
the tesla runs on A LOT of open source software.
Gimp is fucking garbage though.
closed source = zero chance of fixing it.
zero.
And has no backdoors
A thread died for this
I recently switched to linux and this is 100% true, Based and redpilled
counter: RuneLite (free third party program to play oldschool runescape) is better than OSBuddy, a pay-to-play closed program
Open source can be pic. Or anything else.
>There are better open source cars
open source programs have better performance
mostly because they are not bloated with malware or over design GUI.
you should replace the img
>gnu + car
fucking tard
It's true 99% of the time.
There's some very few exceptions, like Blender 2.8 for example, where that easily compares to any other 3D software in the same space.
See, the thing with cars is that they're always open source: you can just read the repair manual, pop the hood and see what's in there. Remember the black box scare? Well, just to let you know, most car manufacturers put a black box in your vehicle to track you.
en.wikipedia.org
You can always just rip out the black box. The thing is that it voids your warranty, and it takes time and effort to do so. Now, you can do the same thing with software, however, only in one case it's illegal.
1. tesla is lame af and the actual build quality of the cars is trash, i dunno if it's really worth making it out to be some luxury thing despite the expense. sorta like apple products, same cancerous fanbase anyway
2. the gnu/car looks fuckin sick i'd drive it
gimp is literally the worst example you could habe used.
I believe in FOSS but GIMP? fuck gimp
The fact that to turn on the windshield wipers in a Tesla you have to reach for the touchscreen is everything I need to know about those cars.
>closed source
>uou still can't deny it
Telsa released the source though...

Reminder gnu.org

>paying for adobe products
You are retarded. Kys.
thats a pretty kino way to die
Open source:
It comes with bugs glitches but thats ok because you can fix them.
The next version is expected to fix them, maybe if some nerds volunteer to.
