Why are there no 3.5" ssd drives that have like way more space than 2.5" ones

Why are there no 3.5" ssd drives that have like way more space than 2.5" ones

Why isn't there a 10TB 3.5" ssd?

What you need a 10 tb ssd for. That kind of market is for 5400 rpm.

JAVS

pretty sure there are for enterprise storage
bigger form factor isn't better unless you load up that space with moar chips, note plenty of 2.5 drives have a lot of empty space

If 50 tb is "ultra high capacity" what the hell is a petabyte going to be once we reach that? Fucking "infinity capacity"?

by that time 1 megahd photo will be 500mb

Even if they exist, it doesn't concern you because you are unable to, or unwilling to pay for the capacity.

SAS ssd reach 15 tb on 2.5 inch format

>500 mb write speed

You do realize that 2.5" ssds are mostly empty since they can make them in 2240 M.2 sizes right?

The 3.5" SSDs are unaffordable anyways.

Because the storage Jew wants you to pay out the ass for Chink memory chips

They don't have to be that big to have a lot of storage.
You can already get 15TB in a normal 2.5 form factor.

Storage works on a sliding scale over time as technology advances user.

Back in the early 80s 20MB would be truthfully considered "ultra high capacity" just like a 100MHz processor would have been unthinkable back then.

>normal 2.5" form factor
>thicker than 7mm 9mm and even the 12mm standard sizes.

Most enclosures and laptops won't even take anything thicker than 9mm, some of them fucking limit you to 7mm.

>implying you need a fast drive for videos
Unless you're the editing the raw footage and working the jav store, you don't need ssd.

I'm not sure what your point is concerning the topic of this thread, regardless of whether you are right.

And yet people still love lolis.

The point is that that's not " normal 2.5 form factor"

They were damn bunky too

>TFW no hybrid drive with like significant cash say 25% of storage

BTW all the MLC bullshit memory is barely even faster than HDD storage while being expensive.

A "fast" SSD pretty mych is a tiered storage with a tiny ram, one or two gigs of actually fast cache and the reast is fuckslow MLC/

Honestly what we really need is more and better tiered or hybrid storage options.

Nobody cares in a thread about 3.5 inch SSDs.
Take your autism elsewhere.
