I do both
yes.
Save. Data caps and crappy mobile networks in my shithole of a country are kind of limiting.
YES!
>streamcucks always go off about how good streaming is
>streamcucks constantly spam music boards with "X WAS TAKEN OFF SPOTIFY"
both
save them on my NAS and stream them from my NAS
spotify has no music at all
both
save my favorite albums, stream individual songs that I may want to listen to now and then
Her fingers are disgusting.
>Her
oh you naive fool.
YES!
It is her you mong.
instagram.com
save for albums i want to listen to in high quality and obscure music and steaming for everything else
poor people can't get out of their poor person mentality.
spotify + pihole
stream google play/soundcloud, download superior BDRIPS/Flacs of Japanese media
Both, but I also use Spotify Premium to save albums to my laptop's drive to so I can listen to them when I'm out of wifi access.
>indirect source request method #23: accuse subject of being opposite sex, thus prompting proof of sex
America?
Both.
I want to rip that nose ring out of its face
both
Both, but I only stream when I want to listen to something new on the go though
Considering Streaming DSD 128 (5.6mhz) is impossible with any mobile data plan available in my country NO
>DSD
>Vinyl Rip
please tell me this is a joke
I do however enjoy streaming 16/44.1 and 24/48 lossless from my private 6TB music server to my iPhone Foobar -> DAP over 4G so YES
I have a rather large physical collection of music CDs that I rip into FLAC and put on my phone's microSD card. The only streaming I do is via YouTube when looking for new artists. Usually EDM. I then go and buy their music/albums off of whatever service has it. Except for iTunes. Fuck Apple.
Your a fucking joke mate. Vinyl is much closer to the Analogue master tape than 16/44.1 CD. FACT
t. R2R tape owner
imagine streaming 320kb/s mp3s at less than 190 kb/s in jewtube, imagine paying for music, imagine using a lossy audio format.
This post was made by the FLAC gang.
I stream no matter how much anti-streaming "paying to rent" shit I hear, I went from full local libraries to streaming because I'm
a) sick of constantly having to adjust my volume based on what the file is because they're all from different sources (mostly used Soulseek)
b) sick of having to MusicBrainz Picard everything to have good tags and art, and even then I'm manually fixing everything
I would not hesitate for a minute to go back to local if anything stupid happens though, I'm not that reliant on it
Both, for mobile I use botnet music, at home I listen TTAs from my NAS.
>Vinyl is much closer to the Analogue master tape than 16/44.1 CD. FACT
Anything mastered after 1977 was done so on a PCM adapter at 16/44.1 regardless if it went on vinyl or not
t. Sony PCM501ES owner
A mix of streaming on WiFi and local storage for every other scenario, like in my car or when I'm out walking. Vinyl is cool but expensive and impractical. CDs are gay unless it's some local band's.
2D is clearly superior
If I can figure out how to rip music off of google play then save for all of my rock music, all of my electronic stuff is saved into LAME encoded MP3s
Save, streaming is for cucks.
Save. I like to have permanent ownership over my files. A non DRM track cannot be yoinked off my disk just because someone didn't renew a license.
Why would you ever stream?
Just keep the tags %artist% - %title%
sort them into .m3u playlists
fake randytaylor
I save music to one of my servers and then stream it from there
I have about 800GB of music (50/50 flac/mp3)
Half modern and 25% each of Anime and classical.
I've paid about $45 for music in the last decade.
I wouldn't use streaming because you know those reptiles are using it to develop a "consumer profile" and other shady shit on you etc.
what utter horseshit...if you look at the spectrograms on my vinyl rips there is plenty of information above the nyquist limit of 22khz .... infact posting a pic and seeing the information out to 40khz is actually required to verify your release on rutracker you tard ...
[pic related] a rip i did from 1990
I only own CD's. I then rip them to my computer and have infinite digital copies.
Same here. I use Daphile on an old Dell laptop to play through a nice Harman Kardon setup.
Where did you get it?
no one here can read that shit, what.cd is dead so these newfags were never forced to learn.
Save, it's better for the environment.
Save. I've always done this and I'm trying to avoid streaming for as long as I can. It's so easy that there's no reason not to do it. Besides, I'm tired of my friends bitching in passing regarding "Youtube/Spotify/whatever taking down music and ruining my playlists".
ugly BR womanlet, stop posting her.
It's actually a dude. I know cause he lives with his boyfriend in my city, about 2 miles away.

Plus a couple of places that I don't want to mention
also my library has an absolutely PATRICIAN classical music collection (despite being in bumfuck nowhere in middle america)
Check it out and rip it to flac with my laptop.
(library is also a good place to rip dvd from)
Just visit her insta page. instagram.com
Cool, thanks. I expected you were gonna say you used those youtube-to-mp3 sites, and I'm pretty sure they change the .mp3 file before they give it to you. Could be malicious.
Are there people that actually use youtube to mp3 sites instead of just using youtubedl or the like to pull the audio track directly?
That's if you're even fine with the shit audio youtube uses.
kids who don't know any better do it
I use youtubedl (I'm fine with the shit audio youtube has), but I was curious and checked the MD5 sums of a a music file I downloaded from a few different youtube-to-mp3 sites. They were not the same, and it bothered me 'cause it's not cool to add shit to a file, you know? Anyway, you don't use em so cool.
Good job, you dropped a shit ton of money to act like an elitist to vinyltards. Hope mortgaging your house was worth it.
I shouldn't complain, I collect SACDs.
Why do you lie
Save FLACs, because fuck streaming
This is Jow Forums, you can believe me or don't. I'm just telling you what I've heard from random people.
I have a plex library that houses weeks worth of endless music. I keep a small section of it on my person for listening on the go, I periodically switch out songs.
that tape machine cost me $60 bucks 13 years ago and i repaired it myself.
> I collect SACDs.
Yuck... i have been unimpressed by most SACD i have heard ... alot come from sub-par PCM masters and you can just torrent the the SACD .iso these days FFS
save my porn, stream my music
>I'm pretty sure they change the .mp3 file before they give it to you.
>Could be malicious.
I don't see how it could be malicious. Just shitty quality
Honestly, just lurk /mu/ and /ptg/ for a day or two and an endless supply of original quality mp3s and flacs will present themselves to you. This imageboard for Brazilian racists and Japanese pedophiles is a great site for getting pirated stuff.
>in Tokyo last year
I wish I could have seen them and called them pathetic weebs
On my computer I download my favorites and stream the rest. On my phone, I buy them on iTunes
I save streams with music.
Have sex.
Both. Pirated Spotify/Deezer for new music and songs I like but not their albums. Download for full albums.
Just saying but there are ways to normalize volume.
Save, because I can't stream flac and I don't want DRM
Justified
god yes
Same. What do you use for streaming? I'm using airsonic + dsub.
>America?
Greece. Not sure if it can get worse than that.
>Vinyl is much closer to the Analogue master tape than 16/44.1 CD.
what fucking master tape? this isn't the fucking 60's
Is that a modded ipod?
is this bait?
>I fuck the music, I make it cum
Stream to discover, download to keep...
I used to save, but these days I stream since I got a Spotify account shit cheap on eBay and it's really fucking based
I stream from home using Airsonic server. Fuck streaming services if i can host my own. DSub android app is also comfy af
No
I have a subsonic server, so both.
stream since there hasnt been good music in a decade
I download what I like, I buy what I really like a lot and I stream everything else.
>he listens to music
will people judge me if I wear these to the gym?
the padding will be ruined from all the sweat, plz dont
Save them for home use and then stream them when I'm not, the true patrician's setup
I save since my vidya/weebshit isn't on Spotify.
There are some tracks on Soundcloud that I stream though
imagine spending this much time and money on your setup and then using it to listen to the prodigy
why yes, the bulk of my music collection is video game format music ripped directly from games and the rest is in FLAC
I save music to hdd attached to my raspberry pi, on which i have Cherry Music server allowing me to stream it wherever I am
I save it. I'm not a storagelet. Streaming is fucking gay.
how to land cute weeb gf if not weeb
yes, but people judge others for everything
so it doesn't really matter, they could judge you for being fat and gay too but you still go
Both, must of the times I stream using Apple Music.
When internet is a problem (I work at a cruise ship and internet is expensive and shit) I listen from an externetl HDD with all my same music saved.
Mostly save. Tried to use Spotify, both free and premium. Constantly bugs out and only plays songs for 6 seconds before it shits itself.
if i ever was in position to be at a gym, i would judge that you are cool
